URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL REGULAR POSTERS IN THIS FORUMI FEEL

FIRST OF ALL...I WANT TO SAY THAT I ENJOY POSTING HERE ON A DAILY BASIS...HOWEVER THE ACTIONS OF ONE PERSON WITH MULTIPLE ALIASES HAVE FORCED ME TO MAKE THIS THREAD.

I FEEL WE NEED TO SEND THE MODERATORS AND HIGHER UPS AT COVERS A MESSAGE ON HOW FED UP WE ARE WITH THEIR LACK OF POLICING THIS IDIOT.

SO IF YOU ARE WILLING TO LEAVE COVERS AND GO "DOWN THE ROAD" WHERE MANY OF US HAVE AN ACCOUNT ALREADY LET COVERS KNOW EXACTLY HOW MANY OF YOU THERE ARE BY POSTING A MESSAGE IN THIS THREAD

THIS GOES FOR ALL REGULAR POSTERS REGULAR LURKERS AND NEW FOLKS WHO DON'T LIKE LOOKING AT THREADS BUMPED FOR NO REASON FROM 2 MONTHS AGO

AS FOR THE MODS AT COVERS...CAN YOU  PLEASE INFORM US OF WHAT CAN BE OR IS BEING DONE TO PREVENT THIS GUY FROM DOING THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN? BY HIM DOING IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE NO ONE IS FIXING THE PROBLEM.

ONCE AGAIN, WE DON'T WANT TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, BUT FOR THOSE WILLING TO MOVE FORUMS PLEASE LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD BY POSTING HERE

AGREED.  I respect this website - and the moderators - I sincerely appreciate the services that Covers.com provides - I've recommended this website to many friends. . . 

One or two renegade posters have rendered the soccer forum unworkable.  The actions far exceed the occasional offensive post - offensive posts are expected  . . . that's not the problem.  It's not "words" that are at issue - its procedural spam that is dragging the forum down mechanically . . . it's not substance, its more "structural" in nature.

let's do it. Maybe we should take the CPL over there. I could barely find my matchup today. Took until the 6th page to find it.   I have been here over 10 years (wagerline/covers) and this and the guy making threads every other night calling people "nigaaars" is annoying. Something can be done, but they don't want to limit possible eyes on advertisers.

JJ ... I agree with you and support you a 100% ... Love Covers but these nuisance posts are becoming REALLY annoying ...

I have no doubt that the mods can detect if one's account is posting bulk messages and block the account but I REALLY wish they have a feature or an option to send a destructive virus to a spammer ...

I also wish that they can restrict new users not to be able to post for the first few days of membership ...

Just my 2 cents

their view, it's easier to police it (i.e. mods) than to fix (restrict posters etc) the issue.

I dunno. The only way is to have a 'new' member have a waitin period before they could actually start posting in threads.  Or something along those lines.  It is just too hard to tell if a 'new' member is legit or not. Covers wants new members.  That is a large point to website. There doesn't appear to be a problem in the other topic threads. Just soccer.  I say weather the storm.

THE OTHER ALTERNATIVE IS TO SET UP THE FORUM TO WHERE THE PERSON THAT CREATES A THREAD CAN APPROVE  POSTERS IN THAT THREAD...THIS WOULD HAVE TO BE A SITE-WIDE CHANGE

Jim, I think you guys should take as many members over there as you can, turn this place into a ghost town, I own my own business and have zero time to cap games and it has become impossible to follow certain regulars lately and covers is to friggin lazy to do any thing about it. I have been coming to this site on almost a daily basis for 9,10 years and it has turned to garbage!

SBR has it's own share of freaks, always will. Damn shame is that this forum was one of the best there was. Now it is just a stream of wannabe touts, coming in here like arrogant bullies and always only followed by "mysterious" shills that noone sees on a regular basis. Cover's mods have no way to control this, they are too busy wacking their chains

THROWING THIS OUT AS AN IDEA.... WHY CAN'T CT PUT A LOCK ON THESE THREADS THAT KEEP GETTING BUMPED?

THEY HAVE IT ON THEIR POST AT THE TOP OF THE FORUM...I'M SURE THE POSTERS WHOSE THREADS ARE BEING BUMPED FOR NO REASON WOULD BE OK WITH IT IF IT WOULD STOP THIS MESS.

It's been awhile, I hope all is well. I don't go to the soccer forum as much for this reason. Too many knucklehead. I miss the good ol' days when the soccer forum was about soccer and Cowboys and Raines where regulars.

I will write to the moderators for help in a few minutes. I bet this guy is a box in real life as well he is hiding like a mouse afraid to speak and express opinion. My assumption is that this guy is someone who was trying to post, his picks probably have failed big time ,some people have made fun of him and that's the reason for the spam.There is no other explanation. The other option is that this is some of the older guys which doesn't look reasonable.
