Exactly, Jailbait7127. The RX Soccer forum is a ghost town, and always has been. Which is what brought me over here in the first place.

That would be a much easier forum to take over. There's no one there.

I respect you, you are a very good friend, but I have to disagree on that one
1 - he is already in Sbr and other forums
2- I'm not going to have 1 douche going to let ruined what we have enjoyed for so many years, 8 for me
3- he is not first one and won't the last one

Miami, make some really good points  and P, thanks for chiming in on this.  You sum it up nicely with 3 simple statements.

     I completely agree and I myself am not going anywhere either.   Nothing against the other place, but I have seen what goes on there, they have their own share of freaks.  No doubt it is a fine group of people, they do a great job over there, but it doesn't knock my socks off.    The grass is always greener??

   As for moving the CPL over there, I seriously doubt it would be welcomed with open arms there.  

      I will stay and fight for this forum any way that I can and ignore the haters.

Longtime lurker here, very occasional poster. I may not contribute all that often but I truly enjoy coming to this forum for the information and discussion. Don't let one d!ckhead screaming for attention like a 5 year old ruin it, you guys have a great thing going here.

Covers is known in the industry as a forum full of squares and rookies and, to be honest, it was only the dedicated work of the regulars here that turned it into a respectable place.  A quick look at the other forums here shows that the soccer forum is by far the most 'professional'.  But all good things must come to an end...

I suggest moving to a forum with active moderators and a more businesslike approach.  Therxforum is great for other sports but the soccer forum is quite slow, with only a couple regular posters.  This crew could easily slide in there and be welcomed with open arms.  Good luck with whatever path you choose...

Understandable discussion guys

To me of all of the things mentioned it seems that one thing sticks out as the no brainer solution that will have everybody satisfied...

A SOCCER MODERATOR

this solution would be an adequate expression on the part of Covers that the soccer forum is somewhat valued, and also would give the soccer forum members a higher tolerance for occassional BS knowing that we are at least moving in the right direction

I'm a frequent lurker of the forum here....I post from time to time......but mostly come here for the picks and the fun that is created during games by p_66 - Jimc0911 - Ben - Barb - (others I forgot to mention pls excuse me) ....

I've seen the post that covers made about being respectful in wording in terms of sexual preference and race etc......however as far as I see it.....NO one in here bothers anyone......the jokes remain in the thread among those who frequently come here.  The years I've followed I have yet to see someone take ANY joke personal or out of context .........picks are given along with some in game comments along with humor ......I don't get what the big deal is.

Cleary Covers is being violated by whoever is executing these childish acts, and they are not addressing the problem at hand and merely passing it off on to you guys......

I've been waiting on p_66 to pop back in the forum like 2 weeks now......yeaaa its that serious.   I see you guys as a charming bunch in here, somewhat family oriented .....why does covers wanna mess that up???  When thats not the prob?

I'm with p_66 .......lets stand firm gents!!!

Maybe the soccer community could put forth some suitable candidates.

Ganda springs to mind.

1) No one is leaving this forum, not the majority of posters anyway.  P66 is the glue that binds this place and if he stays, the rest of us will stay

2)  Agree that there should be a mod from the soccer forum.  No clue as to why there isn't one but there truly needs to be. 

3) not really sure why I numbered these.  Kinda seems like I was trying to make an emphatic point, but in reality no, I just thought it would be cool lol

Sorry guys. I don't want to join anyone "on the other side". I have a 4 yr. old granddaughter and I want to see her grow up. I want to have lots more fun on this side. Not ready to go to "the other side".
