Hopefully I'm the January Monthly Contest Loser

I had the lead going into the last day today,after feeling like I got lucky in last nights game.So not really feeling to confident in any of the games today i decided to start an account with the new sportsbook in the Chicagoland area and hedge my pick today to make sure I won at least 500.So hopefully I lose my pick in the covers contest today,and lose the 1000 dollar monthly contest(Even though I would be proud I finally won something),this way another covers member can win the 1000 dollars(Try and keep it in the family right).I'd rather take the casinos money then donate it to them,plus I got Dallas at +114 so I will win 570 from the sportsbook if Dallas wins,or I will win 500 if Carolina wins(The 1000 from covers minus the 500 I bet at sportsbook).So hopefully one of you other covers members hits for 1000 today,and hopefully its someone who could really use the money right now.Love the free contests Covers!I'm cracking a cold beer to celebrate right now,mmm that f*ckin tastes good.

 It’s looking sweet for Covers to pay. Got hosed on last pick. Navy@LolMD delayed till Tuesday for weather. Got Covid cancelled earlier in Jan. Only wins count. Good job man. Good luck.

 Thanks Astro,I hear you on your canceled picks,thats a hard way to miss a couple days of the months picks.Luckily I didn't pick any of the affected games that got canceled.I really did feel fortunate to even be in it at the end.Somewhere in the middle of the month I was doing ok,then had KC looking great until Mahomes got knocked out,then I think it was the next day I had that Baylor-Kansas game where the guy nailed the half courter in a meaningless shot to give me a push instead of a win.Usually that would be about where I begin my tailspin of losses.
