I haven't written anything on this message board before but i have been reading it and wanted to say thank you for all the tips and advice along the way. 

Thanks to the consensus being too high on philly today i ended up taking the over (7) in the game.  The over hit in the 3rd inning with LA up 6-2 so i don't have to hope for a philly comeback.  Feels nice not to have to sweat out a comeback.

DET looks like better pick........anytime covers shows a trend of 0-12 go against

my cheat sheet says DET +1.5 and probably win outright

Atlanta game seems fishy they were -122 favorites at one point and now they are just -107 despite Hudson being on the mound. Toronto is now -105 to Oakland -101 even though Toronto has a new pitcher should I go with them anyway?

The Blue Jays are bringing up a pitcher from AA are they still a lock?

Quad, I don't know what to tell you except that the main reason the ml has gone down for ATL is that Freddie Freeman is out at 1b for the Braves and Eric Hinske is in for him. Freeman is a big power hitter so there is some loss of run production potential with Hinske. I am not knocking Hinkse, he is a good hitter, but just not as much on the power side.

 As far as Toronto goes, i have not looked yet but a AA pitcher does NOT bode well for them.

 Good luck with your pick. Both of thiose seem dicey, but ATL seems the better choice; or something else maybe? I wish there was more time. I am getting a late start on these night games and I took Philly early. Gl

AHHHH! Quad!!! Chipper Jones is also out tonight for the Braves so I would not pull the trigger. Even though I still think they win, it is risky. Martin Prado will be solid at third in his stead, and Costanza will be in LF. Costanza has been on fire! Loads of question marks abound , hence the line drop. Gl.

Quad, I like Tampa better than ATL or TOR, but i have not researched any of them that much. Tampa has won 22 of 28 over KC at the Trop.

Cool, Quad! I am glad you didn't take one of my picks. I feel that I am off the hook for the loss. The last thing I ever want to do is lead someone in to a loss, no matter what their streak may be.

      There are a lot of great cappers that like to post their picks, strategies, and advice here in Smooth D's cool thread. Please forgive me if I forgot to mention anyone as there have been so many along the way!

      We are blessed to have constructive people want to help each other out and have somehow missed a large percentage of the crazies who go on their trolling sprees bashing all in their path.

     Good job on hitting that Philly over! You were spared from sweating out the inevitable comeback like I was. You just KNEW they would get on top when it was all said and done.

Congrats on the excellent call with the Pittsburgh upset in Frisco! The bookies hated that one!

Wow! The Yankees and Braves are really pouring it on! I wish I would have told Quad to  go Braves, but  I just feel like such a homer whenever I recommend them. They are good though. Maybe his Nats will beat those cursed Cubbies to get the monkey off our backs! lol. they lead 1-0 in that one early.

Well, I got the win with Philly -123 on here and also on SFTC today.

I must say that I have never been more disgusted with a win in my whole entire lifetime of playing SFTC than by this one. On the leaderboard, there were 32 of the top streaks riding on Philly to win. Included were two W19's, some W18's, someW17's, and so on and so forth adding up to thirty-two of the luckiest bunch of people I've ever seen. I would have gladly traded my W2 to see them all fail epicly.

Their days are numbered! This cannot continue! It is simply unsustainable that they can continue to survive sheeping it up with the rest of the players. A day of reckoning is coming and I predict a monumental crash! I have seen their picks and they pick International Friendlies and MLB HKW AOR props for crying out loud! But enough about that. I just had to vent a little bit.

On the bright side of that Philadelphia victory, I am up to W3 on here yet again and am still chasing the Perfects with a 8-2 record for August so far.

Put the SFTC leaderboard on notice: We are coming for you and we are many. Our legion shall ride you down! Onward 25 Dime Club! Let's Ride I say!

looks like CLE was a good pick so far

my TOR pick looking shaky........this is why i say patience is key with this angle......when covers shows the teams in warmup(about 10 min before game locks) thats when the 2 favorite angle is golden

we will see if I get lucky anyway with TOR

Im gonna start posting my dog of the day to see where it goes
these are games to bet on and wont be available on survivor because Im looking for highest paying dog that wins or at least covers

today was pitt.....yesterday was Rockies......we will find out if Im on to something......

looking forward to gathering data for college football and NFL regular season

I am sorry that your streak has ended Crushalot. I really don't know what else to say, except that I KNOW you will be back up there again in no time.You are to good to be held in check for long. Just look at your red star on your RSI for crying out loud! No doubt that was a rush! I can only imagine what it must have been like.

When you are there next time, I am sure you will move forward to raise your own personal bar and get @ least the 25k. Congrats and enjoy your prize money.

You are now in the Hall of Fame! Congratulations again.

Yes I do remember I am trying to get revenge for smooth just like I did for you when they beat the Rockies and I went with the Giants over the Cubs in the 1st game of a Doubleheader the next day.

CUBS ARE OFF LIMITS!
I am taking the Nats to hopefully avenge your loss.
