Yeah Krams, I feel bad for Somanyrings, as well. There will always be haters out there as long as there is jealousy. They cannot stand the thought of someone doing what they have not done themselves. Many of them can scarcely put two wins together, no doubt. They are showing themselves to be a bunch of classless losers diving in like buzzards on a gutwagon.

Thats how people get these days....you see it everyday on SFTC

thats why I like posting here....we support each other and realize someone else winning money doesnt mean we cant

I took Angels on SFTC but only because I was trying to get a green before I pick my lock of the day at 4 lol

I saw nothing in the Angels that said Angels was a lock but I didnt see anything to suggest a blowout win by TOR either

Nice JOB SOMANYRINGS

As bad as it might feel a w20 is 2 shy of the all time highest streak
and makes you an all star on covers

keep your head up baseball season is the hardest time of year to get that kind of streak going in my opinion

Yea i definitely am glad i checked in hon this forum and glad i started posting cause i like the input and the support. 

I hate to say it booyahz123 but i'm rooting for tampa.  I know i've read the articles about being a redsox fan in here but being from MA i'm a huge redsox fan.  Hope it doesn't kick me out of this great forum .  But im not one of those obnoxious redsox fans, and my brother is a huge yankees fan.

The same thing happens on ESPN. The haters come out and if it's a person of color the racists just come out of the woodworks. Like their skin color or nationality had something to do with it. A few months back on ESPN I don't know if you guys remember. The leader got off to something like 22-0 start. I can't remember exactly so this clown starts making racist remarks towards Mexicans. I took exception to his comments and we go back and forth. My last message to him was there is no way you will win this contest. Just based on your spirit alone  and the fact you're a racist the karma will come back on  you. So what happens he blows his pick, somebody passed him up and he had a meltdown. He had to delete his file it got so bad. He came back the next month but still the damage was done and he hasn't been back on the leaderboard since. The fact is some people have no class and money tends to bring out the worst in some people. We just have to ignore them and live our lives the best way we know how.

I like the Yanks and Phils but respect what others like....

Im taking Tampa ....its an angle that has been good for me

I'm in Seattle on business and believe me I am trying to work it out so I can go to the game tonight and root for Seattle against those blasted Red Sox! We don't mind you being a Red Sox fan but don't start with the Yankee bashing or bragging about Boston and I think we will be fine. However if we meet in the ALCS all bets are off.

Wow that is crazy smooth.  I"m still not sure how to copy the articles and then write my own comment so this is in regards to your last post.  Karma really does come back to bite people in the ass.  I know we are all on here to win the $$, but the contest doesn't seem like it ends if 1 person wins the big prize.  

And booyahz, phil hughes sure hasn't stoked confidence in anyone for the past year.  I'd definitely take tampa today if i wasn't such a chicken when it comes to the yankees.  There reputation alone makes me not want to bet against them.

Yeah I've found that a lot of people on ESPN are just dicks for lack of a better word, every month without fail if you go onto the profile comment section of whoever is in the lead, or close to the lead you will read some of the nastiest comments you'll ever find, if I ever post anything on the person comment section I always wish them luck because I believe in karma & if you bring negativity towards someone on a streak your never gonna get one yourself.  Put out positivity and you'll always get it back.

Naw smooth i'd never talk trash about another team unless it was just playful.  I've seen my brother come to fenway too many times and the people there just act ignorant and rude towards him for being a yankees fan to ever return the favor.  But yes in the playoffs all bets are off haha.  Have fun in seattle.  Tickets are probably cheaper than any sox or yanks game at home.

Oh Krams its all fun and games until the Vice President shoots someone in the face! Oops wrong sport but at any rate Yankee-Red Sox is a blood feud no doubt. But like George Steinbrenner "The Boss" God that man had class. Most good Yankee fans know where to draw the line. When the Red Sox won their 1st World Series since pre historic times Steinbrenner sent the Red Sox Owners a gift and called them personally. So the rivalry is intense the hate will always be there but it's a respectable hate if that makes sense.

Thanks for posting this, I really like online sports contest too.  So how difficult are some of the contest they run to win, I mean have you been playing for years & the jersey was the first thing you've ever won?

I like the way you think, Smooth. I do remember that guy, and was appalled at the comments directed his way. I am proud to be banned from posting on ESPN and I feel that posting on the matchup conversations over there is a waste of time! That lot are a bunch of cretins for the most part!

 I do wish that I could post on our SFTC Group page, however. I may look into getting unbanned so that I can join in the fun. Until then, I will be known as the Anonymous Liker. lol. When you see 1 fan likes this it is probably me.

It definietely makes sense.  And steinbrenner was definitely a guy with class and brought back a horrid yankees baseball team.  Its an intense rivarly but at the end of the day it is just a game and there is another one the next day.  So i say lets have a beer and enjoy rooting against each other.

I am speaking for myself, though. I cannot speak for the rest of the Club. I may be more tolerant because I am a Braves fan first and a Yankees fan right after them. lol

Yes I always liked the BOSS.......he took a team that CBS had run into the ground and brought the team back to the top.......
when Reggie went from OAK to the Yanks thats when I became a yanks fan........

still remember eating Reggie candy bars as a kid....and the summer of sam.....lol

Thanks bama!  Being a braves fan must be tough these days although you guys are making a comeback.  I was scared to say something bout being a sox fan, but people seem really chill in here and tolerant.

  I think my brother has middle child syndrome (my sis being the oldest and me being the youngest) and growing up in CT you kinda had to choose between the sox and yanks.  My dad is a sox fan so my brother wanted to piss him off like most middle childs.  It makes for a fun time now that the sox have finally won a world series.

I've only been playing it a couple months.....jersey was from nfl.com and I received it right away....so it is a legit contest

I've won 5 hats on here and $500. for most wins in a week on Ultimate Race.....have won on other contest over the years that no longer exist.......nothing huge as far as contest winnings go

No doubt it there have been some rough patches, but the Braves can make some noise even as a Wild Card.

That is so funny about your brother and the MCS. I am sure there is never a dull moment during baseball season!

YoSmooth! I DID see this on the SFTC group board, but unfortunately only moments after the game started. To be honest, I actually had a very bad feeling about that pick, but I pulled the trigger anyhoo.

You had the right of that one and the extra rest for Weaver proved to be a disaster. These players are all about rythm and any changes from the routine are to be feared. As far as Bauitista goes, I wish he had played because Weaver has owned his ass to the tune of 6-0 in At Bats.

Oh well. I really wish that no clue 1 guy with his 22 wins would lose before he hits stash level! That would just make my month. He is getting dangerously close. It is nothing personal against him, it's just that I want the stash to grow. Grow! GROW!

Well I have been 2-0 on the hate tour so why stop now. Another ex-Yankee bum is pitching today. The dreaded Javier Vasquez. Why this bum had 2 tours with the Yankees is beyond me. It's like going out with Naomi Campbell and saying wow she really can't be that crazy. I mean she looks good and everything. GUESS WHAT? SHE IS THAT CRAZY! Now back to our boy Vasquez. This guy is the worst and I'm being kind. How he stays in the Major Leagues should be considered an 8th wonder of the world. So the Giants will send Lincecum to the mound. Let's not forget the revenge factor here. I say the Giants paste this bum and send him to the showers early. I'm putting real money on the Giants to stay undefeated on this personal Smoothd hate tour against the frauds of baseball. I suggest you hit your favorite sportsbook and get some action. I have won 5 in a row on  Bodog and I don't lose on hate bets. Hopefully this holds up.
