dont mess with this matchup.....lost my w11 on it...... a much better pick is detroit playing at 3 or yankees at 12:30.......have come up with a system for this game and found out the exception to it is last place team at home.....this time I'm getting cash not another damn hat....I just started using it this month after months of trial and error...... we will see how well I do with it .....lol
GL
Cueto is pitching solid right now.. i see the reds and yanks bein a close game..
Your saying not to go with arizona in this game because today you lost your 11 streaker on kansas city??? that game looked way to iffy to begin with, and arizona blew em away..so now with a better pitcher for Zona tonight and a worse pitcher for KC tonight,,,Arizona seems like a lock..arizona didnt blow your streak for you,,,KC did, thats who you picked...You got any statistical reason to offer on why not to go with this game?

Yesterday's pick on the COLORADO ROCKIES -123 was good enough for Win #5. Thanks Rockies! Today I went with the Bronx in game 1 as a fade on Leake. After the way the Yanks hung Freddy Garcia out to dry last Friday against the Cubs, I expected them to get him some run support and a win today. For today and Win#6 (already in progress): NEW YORK YANKEES +102Good luck to the 25 Dime Club and all!

Well you won't believe it the Angeles are losing 5-0 to Vazquez despite getting 12 hits including 10 against Vazquez. I initially had tried the White Sox but that was blocked despite being under -130. For all my SFTC frustrations, at least I can get Winning streaks of 3+ at least several times per month. It's just 9+ that I can't seem to reach anymore. On survivor I have gone sometimes 6 weeks between 3 game streaks and 2 months in between 4+ streaks. There is absolutely no reason for their to not be WNBA on the board. I'll make a deal, I'll continue playing survivor if WNBA goes on the board. If not I'm not playing again until NCAAF/NFL time (if there's an NFL season). My last 4+ streak (5 game streak) was at the end of April. These results are gay. Like I just said give me WNBA or I'm out.
Quad you just need to take a few days off from Survivor thats all. You are too good a capper to quit. Your insights are tremendous, your rants are priceless. As we have discussed before sometimes you just have to pick against the grain. There are so many variables that you just have to go with your gut then as your streak gets bigger then pay more attention to the numbers and find the right spots.

Agreed. I can't imagine this thread without you, Quad. Take some time to recharge your batteries if necessary, but please don't quit the Game. Your homies need you!

I'm going with the hot Oakland A's against the struggling again Mets. Gonzalez hasn't pitched well lately but neither has Dickey. This boils down to hot vs. cold. I'm going with hot. GL 25 Dime Club!

Bama a W5 is about as hot as we've seen around here lately and taking the Yankees for W6 looks good as well as the Yankees are winning late. I think you're on your way my friend. Keep it going. I will be there shortly.

Before I get out of here, I just wanted to sound off on the great Arizona vs. KC debate. On paper almost everything looks good for Arizona. Too good, as a matter of fact, and this is what scared me away. I went over the Yankees game and the Diamondbacks games with a fine tooth comb and a magnifying glass until my eyes bled. What concerned me the most, was Arizona's performance against left-handed pitching on the road. Granted, the opponent is Jeff Francis that we are talking about here, but the Diamondbacks have experienced futility in the past when facing lefties in general, especially on the road. Chew on these: 1.)Arizona is17-42 in their last 59 road games vs. 2.) Diamondbacks are 8-21 in their last 29 interleague road games vs. a left-handed starter. Also, when you throw in the fact that Arizona is 4-9 in their last 13 interleague road games and is 2-5 in their last 7 vs. a team with a losing record, I had second thoughts about them forStreak purposes Now don't get me wrong, I truly feel that Arizona will win and maybe even by a good margin. I just see the potential for trouble is all. Best of luck, Survivors.

great researching Bama,,,i didnt dig deep enough to see all that,,,but it wasnt much debating, just needed more of a reason than this game is a toss up. Im gonna defend my pick till some one gives me more the reason not to. its hard to go off someone saying not to cause they lost with it yesterday, but its easy to listen when the facts are out there....Arizonas bats are on fire, and they should be able to add another win to each of those stats you posted..but then again,,nothin is for sure

the point was there was better picks available and if Arizona is such a lock why is it on SFTC...... yankees were a good pick like I said and Detroit up early......GL

The name of the game is to not focus on the merits of 1 game but to find the easiest game that has the best chance to win. Bama hit the nail on the head with that insight. Similar to my post yesterday in response to Quad picking the Angels. Like I stated it sounded good but the Red Flags I posted was what made me stay away. Sometimes those unseen variables play big roles in games especially baseball where you have 162 games and a lot of ups and downs. So in conclusion my view is, instead of getting stuck on 1 game look for the easiest win you can find and go with that. This AZ-KC matchup has way too many variables to be considered a lock either way.

Edwardglenn- Your streak is at 0 so you really have nothing to lose on that game. Different strategies come into play once you have a streak of 3 or more. GL on your pick.

Bama a W5 is about as hot as we've seen around here lately and taking the Yankees for W6 looks good as well as the Yankees are winning late. I think you're on your way my friend. Keep it going. I will be there shortly.
Thanks, Smooth! I just now saw this. I overlooked it earlier somehow. I very nearly went with the Oakland A's myself. Those awesome throwback unis have them on a six game winning streak! They were definitely in the discussion and should secure the Win for you tonight. The Yankees secured the 4-2 win for my sixth. I knew they wouldn't let Freddy down again! I'll wait for you at the pass. Let's ride my friend!
