I would like to thank everyone for their support, their "hate", and their insight on games in all of the forums. Its been an interesting journey to 20, and hopefully to 21! The final 4 picks have been insanely difficult. The 20th pick gave me an ulcer, grey hair, and almost a heart attack. My fiance' has almost given my ring back on 3 seperate occasions because I have been "locked" in my room on my computer. However, she has been there cheering on every pick with me since the start. I will have more to say after the game, but for now.... Here's to strike outs, pop-up's, and double plays. May the bats be cold and the pitchers' arm's warm. Here's to the outfield fence being high, and the pitch counts being low. Good luck to everyone that tailed me, and good luck to everyone that faded me. Did you hedge the bet? If not, don't watch the game. Take your woman to a movie and forget about it. It's not worth the stress. GL!

Freightdog, The total is at 8, if you hedge the game you can still walk away with 100k if the game has a total of 8 runs. By the way you are speeaking you did not hedge the game, am I correct? Anyways, all the best, no matter what the result is you did a great job and you are still a winner. ||clover.gif' border=0>

Best of luck Freightdog, I think you've made a good pick. Bedard has been great except for the opening game, and the O's bullpen has been phenomenal as of late. hope he hedged the bet when it was at 8 at sportsbooks, can win $100,000 on the under at wagerline, bet $50,000 on the over 8.0 at sportsbooks, hope for a final of 8 and get a push at the sportsbook....good luck||thebaseball.gif' border=0>

Oakland Athletics at Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 p.m. Clear. Winds blowing out to right field at 10-15 m.p.h. Game Time temperature: Around 85. Brian Roberts-(2B) hopes to play Monday after missing a second game Sunday with flu-like symptoms. If Roberts can't go, Chris Gomez will start again.

GL Freightdog. I seriously hope you win this thing. Lord knows, I have no chance. Also, may the strike zone be as big as the Green Monster! I'll be tuned into the game and rooting for a SF style 1-0 win. Best of luck!

Gl Freight!! I dont know about the pick though Baltimore has gone over in 6 of the last 9 versus Oakland with Haren giving up losing decision 6-5 last time out versus Balt with the total set at 9 runs and previous to that he won the game before with a 10-3 win over Balt with the total set at 9 as well. As for Bedard in his last outing versus Oakland he was on the losing end of a 5-4 decision with the TOTAL set at...............Get ready for it 8.5!!!!! The outing previous to that was a 10-5 loss as well for Bedard. No doubt you know your stuff and had your reasons but I definitely would have not taken this game as my 100K LOCK OF THE YEAR!!
