If there were ultimate races year around there could be an possible seven races in one year instead of the usual one or two one in the spring and one in the fall. If someone was perfect in reaching the 200 wins it would take them 50 days to accomplish that. There also WNBA to pick from in July and August besides baseball. And CFL, arena football if they both play. And maybe covers could add MLS to there slate of games to pick from.

Commissioner Randall Boe announced November 2019 that the AFL would file Chapter 7 bankruptcy and shut down for good after failing to find a financial backer to continue operations. So no AFL.
