Thanks for your help Tuppy, but that hasn't been the case for me. I just don't understand why it can't be as easy as picking games for the other contests.

W-T,
What do you mean by "heavily played"? Number of Survivor contestants playing those games? (or the number of general MLB Consensus picks as shown here: https://www.wagerline.com/Handicapping/consensusPick/daily-consensus-picks.aspx?sport=5)
Others,
From what I understand during my short time observing on/off... if EITHER the side OR total reaches 59/60% consensus at that point of the day, then it's off the board until it goes back under 59/60% before it reappears again.
So, TexanGambler1, Hou +109/Pitt -117 probably is off the board due to 66.42% on the Under as of right now. Both the side and total must appear in the list of available games, but if the total is heavily played (assuming my interpretation is somewhat right), then that game as a whole won't show up.

In fact, if everyone would look at this link now:
https://www.wagerline.com/Handicapping/consensusPick/daily-consensus-picks.aspx?sport=5
Only 2 MLB games currently qualifies with less than 59% on BOTH side/totals of each game.
Det +122/CWS -130
Side: 48.74/51.26%
Total (O/U 11): 51.38/48.62%
SD -110/Ari +102
Side: 53.64/46.36%
Total (O/U 7.5): 53.70/46.30%
I guess the Det/CWS game is off the board because CWS is at -130. Not sure, but if enough Survivor contestants pick CWS at -130, I can understand why it's now OTB.

Gentlemen,
Calvinty is right on this, if the game is off the board there is a valid reason for this as he has stated earlier.

Yeah, TexanGambler1, Hou 54% vs Pitt 46% for the side, you are right.
However, the total is heavily on Under at 66.5% so this game isn't available. Guess that's part of the criteria...

dwest is right. It seems all this talk is correct. You have to pick early to get the game you want i.e. the more games are posted..It seems to me based on past history that as the day goes by, the more games are pulled off the board...Right now, only 1 MLB game available SD/Ariz and its a bit under 2 hours until first game.... Apparently, this isn't like a book, all the game up all day and you can get one 5 minutes before gametime!!! NO NO NO, you don't get what you want in the morning, you may not see that game later in the day... seems to be how this works....seems like better to pick a game the night before or very early in the morning!!!! what do people think???? ||surprised.gif' border=0>

I now understand why you remove games due to heavy consensus on one side. However, if you are using that "logic", why not CANCEL the overnight selection also. What difference does it make WHEN someone makes the pick if you don't like them having that game to begin with. ||an_light.gif' border=0>

@dwest718,
I believe that. It's before too many of a majority form an opinion of a game based on early consensus so naturally, there are many games available when only 100 people have chosen the picks with only 58 for one team, 42 for the other team. You would be able to pick either team at that time, before it gets worse into a landslide of 150-400 or something like that.
@wizardofroz,
I honestly don't think Wagerline cares what games a player gets to pick overnight. They know that any heavy consensus would reduce most "followers" choices in picking a game so they don't have to actually limit games to anyone, including anybody at 20 wins. Their computers simply follow OUR consensus leans & eliminate games based on what we DO.
In fact, I'm glad they have overnights because we might already know what we want for tomorrow & we can grab the pick before it's followed by tooooooo many others ("copycats"). Wagerline will naturally let us keep a pick that ends up at 70% just because we were the early birds; they just don't want the copycats to pick all 70% leans to pad their potential winning streaks with no true capping attempt.

Boy i have seen this question asked fifty thousand times with no answers and now i finally see an answer. Finally i can die now. I don't like the answer that much and don't think it makes much sense seeing the books win a majority of those type of games but it is an answer. Thanks WT.

Available games on the board comes from Survivor consensus only - data that is not made available to public. We dont have someone sitting in a chair all day and manually plucking games off and on the board as some have suggested....we have programming in place that does the calculations for us.
Now if there are line moves during the day ... games could become available again as betting decisions change when there are line shifts.
That's about all we can tell you. It's your job to pick and win games we make available.
