sorry guys, been gone for a few days, got really busy with work and school. here's what we have going on, some interesting trends beginning to develop for the 2nd half of the season...
today's play would be ...
Miami
I'm not going to play them though, in fact, the way LA's been playing, I'm probably going to take them.
Game 1s for the 2nd half of the season haven't been doing well, so far
they are a poor 4-7-1 (110-59-1 for the whole season), might be time to
switch it up and go with some of these home teams. So for now, I'm
going to pick my spots for Game 1s. Game 3s continue to be solid, 3-1
in the 2nd half and 18-4-4. Game 2s still suck, 2-4 so far in the 2nd
half and 35-26-1 overall.
GL whatever you decide to do.

Philly covered tonight. They lost their first road game against Golden State, tonight against Phoenix it was +12.5 with the 3pts included and won the game by a big margin.

This is great stuff! I'm thinking about starting this with a $500 bankroll. Anyone still keeping track of the progress of this system? Last progress report I seen was on the 21st of Feb?

Seriously? I thought according to VA's Adjusted system, all teams with 3 or more road games are qualified to be System Plays. Toronto got Orlando and Miami coming right up. Seattle got 5 more (Detroit, Bucks, Philly, Tor and Ind). Am I missing something here?

Looks to me to be Golden State and New Jersey tonight and a pass on Toronto who lost in game 1 and are now playing game 2 this evening.
The question I have about this would be is Seattle also a play tonight because they won their first game on the road trip so now we start over again because they have at least 3 more road games left???

Seattle would be a play in system. However i believe that you are not to bet with the worst teams in the NBA. Atleast this true of the system I been following. You would have to check with VA to see how his adjusted system plays out. It would be hard to bet with Seattle if they lost Kurt Thomas and Wally who were there top producers.

Good call on Seattle!!! I was wrong. But cant complain about the system going 3-0 tonight!!! Not to mention all were Game 1 as well, so no chase needed. Congrats!

Updated Records for the season... Game 1 = 115-62-1 Game 2 = 36-28-1 (which we pass on) Game 3 = 20-4-4
2nd half of the season records Game 1 = 9-10 Game 2 = 3-7 Game 3 = 5-1
Game 1s have been terrible in the 2nd half of the season. I would suggest laying off of them for a week or two until we see what side is worth playing. Game 3s have been money, hitting at about 80% all year.
Tonight's plays (March 4th) would have been... Seattle Game 1 = WIN Golden St Game 1 = WIN New Jersey Game 1 = WIN
so go figure, the Game 1s were 6-10 in the 2nd half of the season, then go 3-0 tonight. Tomorrow will be a great indicator of which direction they're going to go in this year. There's 5 Game 1s tomorrow.
Tomorrow (March 5th) plays... Toronto - Game 3 Seattle - Game 1 Golden St - Game 1 New Jersey - Game 1 Minnesota - Game 1 Indiana - Game 1
It would be tempting to play them all, I don't know if I have the brass to do so. That Toronto play looks tempting, but Bosh is out. As for the Game 1s...it's not exactly what you'd call murderer's row in Min, NJ, Indy, and Sea. So play at your own risk.
GL whatever you decide to do.

The system is still in play. There has to be at least 3 games left in the trip. Right now Seattle is on a 7 game road trip. In the system they've already won twice. So it looks like this...
Series 1, Game 1
W @ Min
Series 2, Game 1
W @ Det
Series 3, Game 1
Mar 5th @ Mil
Game 2
Mar 7th @ Phil
Game 3
Mar 9th @ Tor
If Sea wins tomorrow, then the Mar 7th game @ Phil becomes Game 1 of Series 4 and so on and so forth. The last possible play of the system takes place on their last 3 games of the road trip which are... Mar 9th (Tor), Mar 11th (Sea), and Mar 12th (Bos). If either one of those last 3 games is a WIN, then the system is OVER for that road trip.
I have the spreadsheet for the entire system. It makes following the system a little easier to follow if you are a newcomer. If you want the spreadsheet, add me then post your email address in my covers space bulletin.

Toronto - Game 3 = +5.5 = WIN Seattle - Game 1 = +12 = PUSH Golden St - Game 1 = -2 = LOSS New Jersey - Game 1 = -0.5 = LOSS Minnesota - Game 1 = +17.5 = LOSS Indiana - Game 1 = +13 = LOSS
Game 1s did terrible again 0-4-1 today...very interesting, it was about 60% the first half of the season, now it seems like taking the home teams is the way to go for Game 1 and Game 2 for the 2nd half of the season. Game 3 continued to be money and is now 6-1 for the 2nd half of the season and 20-4-4 on the year.
Tomorrow (March 6th) plays are... No plays really. Indiana would be a Game 2 play which normally we pass on, but with a 3-7 record it's looking like playing the home team is the way to go. So if you want a play for tomorrow, take San Antonio and buy 3 points.
