Hey guys, I'm brand new here and have been looking into a new chase system.
I wanted to present my idea to see if you guysfeel it could work.
What I did was find the top five scoring teams in the league - Chicago, st Louis, san Jose, Anaheim, and phoenix.
Then I found the top five teams in goals allowed per game - new York islanders, Edmonton, Calgary, Florida, and Ottawa.
The chase would be a four game chase after the time of the first goal scored. Bovada offers a prop on the first goal being scored in the first 9:30 or anytime after that.
My results on these teams games were
Games with a goal in first 9:30 =167
Games with a goal after the first 9:30 = 132
now my numbers aren't 100% accurate as I did all the research by hand and I'm pretty sure I missed a few games here or there.
With that bet typically getting a line of about -130. Now ive only researched this current season so I dont know how this stacks up to past years.
To me it seems that with the slight edge of goals getting scored within the first 9:30 that this could work.
I'm very curious hear what all of your thoughts are on this idea and if you think it could work.
