Quit talking about your bets before the game. You get burned everytime you say something. Seattle had the line, but I can't bet Seattle especially with Texas on the road. I don't know why Texas can't score on them.

Irage, I may be wrong but from what I understand, OAK won't be a play as well as the Yanks but what if the line shifts and makes LAA the dog? Will the Angels be a play instead? Not sure about the Mets and BoSox though as they qualify as of now.

If the Yankees end up being over -111, as the common strategy stated by irage, then officially, the Angels would not be a play.


I believe he likes the Angels more then the not getting swept factor w/Weaver on the hill more then he likes his Lines strategy.


I think locking in a wager before the strategy reveals itself is self destruction.


Going against your own strategy never works, either.

Also, majority of the books out there have the Angels favored right now  -  FYI


Alot of -107 to -103  &  -106 to -104



Sports Interaction, the Public Book, has the Angels @ -120  /  Yankees @ +100

I see your point GiLmo574. But the thing is, I was actually waiting for the lines to switch and it did. I was also going for the "not getting swept" and the Angels did play well the previous 2 games. And lastly, yeah its Weaver.

Angels closed as the favorite just about everywhere.


And some books they closed @ -112 or higher.

But, for like the 100th time, this strategy uses the Covers.com lines. And both LAA and NYY closed at -103.

This would not be a play if the Yanks are the DOG, which they ended up being. This is a perfect spot for the Angels. There bench is fresher than the Yanks and should be able to pull this out. As long as weaver holds up.

Typically, I would have dropped this play at the last minute because of all the action, but the Angels like I said are prime for  win regardless of the line.

Really - ARI has been on a huge slump - I know they are due for a win against the lowly cubs - but still. Good Luck if you bet it - I'm off for sure
