Yes Smoltz is done.  Joba the Hutt is hot.  We gonna pay a premium though.  Probably 2-1.

Gee I hope it's not that high.  I figure where it's the BoSox it should be worth a little bit less.
 
I had it down as Yanks -160, but we will see. Considering that Joba has a .83 ERA in his last 3 it very well could be -200.  But I just can't see the BoSox being that huge of a dog.
 
The biggest dog they have been this year is +138

So, the projected matchup for Thurs. is Joba vs. Smoltz?
Yeah, the juice will be closer to 200.

That juice was too much for me. I took FLA ML @ +104. The extra 1.5 runs would be nice, but I could not bring myself to lay 2x more to win the same amount.
I feel that if Washington wins again, they will blow Fla out, so the 1.5 would be irrelevant.

I just got FLA ML at -117  This rpi indicator is not going to be perfect, as CLE just swept SEA a lil back and SEA has a .034 higher rpi today.  It likely was even higher before the sweep.

According to the above v3 post, the Florida Marlins are the "A" bet today.

I haven't taken Cincy as an unofficial bet the first 2 games against the Cubs.  I am putting a little on Cincy today.

This explains why JM does not give a record of the V3 success. It would already show a loss, and that would equal NO sales of this update.

I wasn't saying there was a previous sweep, I was saying the rpi indicator is flawed as CLE swept SEA.  So it can happen in the future.

Yeah, it's pretty sad to see Smoltz end it this way.

But like a good deal of players he didn't know when to get out.  Usually when you have been with a team as long as he had that's a huge sign when they don't want you.  Just isn't right for him to be playing with any other team than the Braves.

Other players that you just wouldn't think would of played for these teams thier last year.

Franko Harris last year.....Seahawks

Joe Namath last year......Rams

Johnny Unitas last year.... San Diego (That just hurts)

Brett Favre last year.........Jets (BTW, did you know he played for the Falcons his first year)

Archie Manning last two years.....Houston and Minny

OJ. Simpson last team.....San Fran

Tony Dorsett last team.....Denver

Earl Campbell last team......New Orleans.

Sad just sad.........

What was it with the Cowboys great running backs playing for other teams the last year or two.
 
The thing about Smith is that his last year he rushed for 937 yards and had 9 TD's.
 
BTW, he actually was a Cowboy when he retired.  He was signed to a one day contract for no money then retired.
