After enjoying moderate success with this system in another thread and seeing interest in it by other fans of this site, I've decided to continue its method of play here.
The premise of this model is simple. We are playing 3% of the bank on one play per day. That's it. Our goal is to grow our bank by 10% per month. If we can achieve this, we will be doubling our bank approximately every 9 months. While playing this system (though not everyday) in the aforementioned thread it accumulated a record of 15-9 over the month of January for a total profit of 16.12%, well above our suggested goal here of 10%.
The plays come from a spreadsheet of stats and formulas I've put together to assist in my capping. The variables included in its makeup consist of the same basics everyone uses so there's really nothing special about it, however, it seems to pick sides and totals with enough accuracy (so far) to meet our goal of 10% growth per month. The spreadsheet usually kicks out about 3 or so plays per day from the games I feed into it. Out of those top plays will come our play of the day. I expect to post early in the day and will only be choosing from games in the NBA, NHL, NCAA and MLB. There will be no parlays, chasing or live betting.
Good luck if you're following along and special thanks to this site for inspiring new ideas and this system's methodology, as well as the cyberspace to play it out.

The Lakers have been underachieving all season in my opinion. They are 21-28 ATS and 10-16 ATS at home. On the flip side, San Antonio has been playing well with MVP candidate Ginobli playing out of his mind this year. The Spurs also have one of the best ATS records in the league with a 28-18-2 mark overall that includes an astounding 13-7 clip on the road. Additionally, the Lakers are 3-7 over the last 10 while the Spurs are 6-3-1. Finally, Bynum's got a bone bruise on his left knee so I doubt he'll be up to speed. Put all that together with a -105 and we have a high value play for the day with San Antone and the 3.5 points.

A play involving the Washington Capitols on the road always deserves a good look. And upon further inspection this appears to be a most savory play. Out of 24 games on the road this season, Washington has hit the under 20 times for an incredible 4-20 record. Semyon Varlamov is killing it with a GAA of 2.14 (4th in the league) while backed by a strong defensive Caps team that is 2nd in PKs (86.5%). Meanwhile, the Lightning haven't exactly been easy to score on either. Veteran TB goalie Dwayne Roloson has been on a gnarly run, stopping 64 shots in 2 straight shutouts and tallying a scoreless streak of 124 minutes. Finally, Tampa's last 8 home games have hit the under 6 times and the last 6 times these teams have met the under has gone 5-1. With a line of -101 for U5.5, we have our play for the day.

Yes, Memphis is tearing it up, winning 10 of their last 13 games including a win over the Rockets at home a few weeks ago. And you're right, Rudy Gay, Zach Randolph and OJ Mayo are legitimate bad-asses. So why Houston? Because they are back home, ready for some home cooking after a sour roadie and looking for a little payback against the Grizz (who are w/o Mayo on suspension for drug charges lol). Houston's Kevin Martin (23.1 ppg) loves playing Memphis and is averaging 32 ppg in his last 12 games against them. Look for that to bolster an already explosive Rocket offense that averages 105.0 ppg for 4th in the league. That's an alarming stat to Memphis fan who knows that the Grizz are 0-10 as the visiting team when allowing 100 or more points. The last time these two met in Houston, the Rockets won by 16 and went on a 5 game winning streak. The Rockets will be our play for today. GL.

Orlando visits Boston today for a Super Sunday battle that promises to be a good one. Shaq is out and the flat-footed Kendrick Perkins will most likely have the task of covering Dwight Howard. In Orlando's last trip to Boston, Howard had 33 points and 13 rebounds with the Magic team out-rebounding the Celts by 10 over their last 2 matchups. With Superman looking for his 40th double-double and the 2 O'neals out, it could get ugly in the front court. And in the back court it doesn't look much better for the Celtics. Orlando leads the league in 3 pointers with 485 while shooting 36.8%. Looking at Boston's last 3 games, opponents hit 48.6% behind the arc, a trend the Magic hope to sustain. The Orlando Magic with their 4.5 points are today's play.
