Well - I know it's not an official play - but it was a bet yesterday for other reasons and people liked them to win - but they lost.
I guess what I was really asking is should I cut my loses or bet them to beat MIN - 2 out of 3 games of the series.
I guess I just hate taking that loss with the juice - and want the opportunity to win it back

Do I understand this correctly. You figured out the formula that ESPN uses to generate the RPI? I know it's not a secet, but I have been trying to figure that out too. Would you care to share that?

I think everyone is aware of that. We have on several occassions mentioned that and B2W has said several times that he will be starting a new thread when the RPI strategy begins.
Personally, I think I will be posting the plays on my webpage along with the running total. This way people who just want the play and none of the commentary will be able to get it that way.

WTF, LAA defense looking like they are stuck in mud. This sucks they have good hitters, but so many errors.
I guess now they will be the worst team.

Hey guys,
This is related to the RPI system spreadsheet. irage thought it would be helpful to add starting pitchers to the spreadsheet, and I would like to display both career and season ERA, but I am having trouble finding a website that has all that information in a format that would be easy to import. So I need some suggestions.
It's ok if there are multiple websites. For example, might have the Career ERA, one might have the season ERA, and one might have who's playing today and the starting pitchers.
Thanks for your help

Until the RPI comes out, I would not bet more than 10%. This year I am playing 1000.00 per chase, of course that means .....
A Game = 1000.00
B Game = 2000.00
C Game = 3000.00
The hard part with this style of betting is finding books that will take 2000.00 let alone a 3000.00 ML bet. So I have to use multiple books to make it happen.
Of course losing a C bet means that I would be losing 6000.00, thats a big chunk of cash.
Irage - If you bet game A at for $100 at 1.71 and it loses you are $100 down.
If you bet game B for $200 at 1.71 and this loses you are $300 down.
So if a series goes to Game C you would bet $300 at odds of 1.71, you would only win back $514 including the stake, ($514 less $300, less $200 and less $100) gives a lose of $86.
Have a missed out something here or is that right if you go to Game C and win you walk away with a lose...??
I'm using decimal odds.
thanks

No worries bro! I was with you on Cincy! you see that 9th inning comeback? Fell short. Who cares. I don't care if people post a play with "insider information", just post "why" it's a play though. Gut feelings are no good here. People here post them all the time. Keep posting "series" plays and why. GL.
