I thought to qualify as a play the team must be over 500 not at .500.  B2W can you confirm.

Looks like we have 2 games on tap as "A" games and 2 "B" games tomorrow. And no bookie, cws wont be a play. They have a worse record than thier opponent. Good night.

Yes you are correct, thanks for noticing that. So the White Sox would NOT qualify as a play tomorrow.

I made a Twitter account @MLBRPI. If you guys want, I can do my best to post the plays to that each day. And/or I can give you the password to the account and we can all be responsible for posting the plays on there. B2W what do you think? And everyone else...what do you think? I know that Covers doesn't work so well on certain phones/tablets etc so in terms or checking picks, Twitter might be a good option. Lemme know!

Well for me, I use decimal odds. My wagering system would be a little bit different. But to give you a general idea, whatever my "A" game bet is, if it loses, I double it up or more on the "B" game just as long as I get back whatever I lost in the "A" game and then profit for at least 50% of what I wagered in "A" game.

Only 2 "A"  games tomorrow? According to my calculations, I have ATL, SF, and WAS as the "A" games and NYM and LAD as "B" games. Am I missing something?

Yes, you are missing something. You have to calculate the difference between their RPIs. If the home team has a difference of 42 or greater it's a play and if the visiting team has an RPI of 50 or greater it's a play. Do that and you'll get the right teams.

Im worry about a lot of C games which take our wins. Pre-RPI have a lot of C games and if we look a year before and 2 year before its JUST 8 games ending at C game.

If im not afraid of NYM, LAD making me scare af fuck

Not only you buddy. A few posts back I already said we may have to go through more "C" games this year. Last year was different than this year. But like what irage said, trust the system and let it work for you. We all are on the same boat together.

Something funny going on with the spreadsheet? When I update the standings the stats are going to the wrong teams and the NY Mets row reads

Ok, using filters we only have 1 "A" Game today. ATL & CIN meet the RPI but their records arent qualifiers. CIN tho does have a .500 & have been playing decent lately. So, CIN could actually qualify. Majority rules! Should CIN be a play? IRAGE? YOUR THOTS?
Todays official plays are:
SF "A" Game
LAD B GAME
NYM BGAME

CIN doesnt qualify either. Not 4 games better than cubbies. Scratch that. Have a good day folks and lets clear these plays to center ice.

Like djknoell stated, the Mets line on the standings page is wrong, causing the records of all teams below them to be incorrect.
Could that have thrown off the calculations?

I am aware of the spreadsheet issue.  This appears to be due to the data coming from ESPN.

regularjoe is correct, there is some bad data that is throwing everything off (down) apparently starting at the Mets row.

I will look into it this morning but if it is on ESPN's end, then there is nothing I can do.  It will most likely 'fix itself' the next time ESPN updates the standings.

I have found the problem and will post a new version of the workbook shortly.

ESPN inserted a new line on the web page the data comes from and that threw everything off.

B2W, what's wrong with ATL ?
Why this is not a official bet ?
They are 0.609, have a RPI diff of +97pts, and last 10 was 6-4, against PHI with 0.500 only and 5-5 on last 10 games. 
Unless they have some injuries, IDK why it's not a official bet. 
Could you explain me plz ?
