I am relatively new to the industry (approximately 2.5-3 months) but have had some success. Early on I just went with crunched a few numbers and ended up going with my gut. I started out pretty good but I could see my luck was starting to run out. So here I am about two weeks into my strategy which I am sure is nothing new but I have made it mine. I dont bet near as much coin as many on this site but I am trying to build my bankroll. So far so good. I started with $100.00 and currently I am at $311.47. That being said, I have cruised the site enough to see that there seems to be some sort of thread curse so if my bankroll falls to the original 100, I'll pull the thread and disappear into the sunset with my head down and try something else. So. All that being said, I AM NOT ASKING ANYONE TO TAIL ME but I think this thread will help me track my progress. BTW. I suppose its always good to have a goal in mind. My main goal is to not lose more than two hundred dollars and to try and reach 1000 dollars. Good luck to me....
so how does your system work? I mean, how do you crunch the numbers?

it's really not that complicated. i just look at teams o/u, ats, and su records, and look for streaks. for example, if the celtics have failed to cover the spread in five straight and that is or matches their longest streak of the season, I will bet on them to cover. Or, at first glance there may be no apparent streak, but looking deeper, the celtics may be 6-0 o/u on the road, so I would bet the under. If the bet loses, I will rebet on their next game, providing the other team is not on an equal and opposite streak for example, the celtics are 6-0 o/u on the road but the raptors are 0-5 o/u at home, in that case one of the streaks will live for another day at least and i will bet that team's streak. As you can see it's not complicated, and is similar to a martingale, but without the risk of wagering large amounts of my bankroll. So far, I have done well, not so much since I started the thread(of course), but i think it will pick back up.... hopefully. in short, the idea is to win each bet the first time, and if not to recoop some of the losses in their next game. it may sound futile but i feel that each bet that I place is at an exceptional value for the simple fact that the teams i bet on are more likely to win whatever bet i place based on their entire season's performance.
