Wouldn't New Jersey be a play for Wednesday also?? I have them opened as small dogs. They have a higher RPI than Colorado.

Someone posted earlier in the thread about backtesting this system and I was wondering if this following site is any good? You just click on 'Archive' in top menu and when you click on the games and scroll down the sheets, you can see 'average power rating'. It's the closest thing to having an idea of the RPI on that given day anyway. You can look through results all the way back to 2006.

When I looked they were -115, so no play

Ok. How technical are you getting with lines? Are you using opening lines or closing lines? These tight lines sometimes can get tricky. Thanks for posting!! Keep it up!!

I try to get them as early as possible on pinnacle.  The closing lines just reflect on the bets made and the books trying to balance the game out.  I'm thinking they have to be +110 or more from now on to offer value for this dog strategy.  Like we learned from MON last night.

I think going forward the opening line should be the line we go off of. Like you said after the line starts moving it throws everything off. Also...the opening line has to be -110 or higher. I've used Betonline for my lines for a long time and they've been very consistent. They also have lines out very early like Pinny. On Wednesday we had NJ/COL which opened -105/-105 and MON/ANA opened -105/-105. There really is no way to tell who the dog is there. With these new guidelines we would have had no plays. So, in my mind this system is still 8-0! Hopefully Friday brings us a play or two......

I see three, Ott +150, NYR +105, NJ +110. Not sure if NYR qualify based on new +110 rule.
