With success after a 3 week trial (refer to previous thread), I have decided to create a new thread to track this system's record and profits made.
It's a simple 3x chase system designed by me chasing pitchers depending on matchups. The benefit of this system is that unlike other chase systems, chasing 5-7 games which will end in disasterous consequences if one series loses. The fact that this is only a 3x chase system will "limited" financial loss should a series lose.
I am going to start off with a bankroll of $10,000.00 here. Starting fresh, I will be placing $100.00 on my first bet, $200.00 on my second and $400.00 on my final bet, regardless of profits made or losses sufferred, so proportion your bets accordingly if you are starting with a lower bankroll. At the end of the month I decide if there is sufficient profit to increase my wagers. (Even on a stationary figure, as evident from my previous thread, I make a steady profit monthly to not worry about increasing my wagers).
As my system determines plays, in any given week there could be as low as 0 or as high as 20+ plays. It fluctuates.
The sportsbook I use are my local one - tab.co.nz, and bet365.com. I am sure that international sportsbooks and more reputable ones provide better odds.
Plays start tomorrow (if any).
Starting bankroll:$10,000.00
Record:
Chase One 0-0
Chase Two 0 - 0
Chase Three 0 - 0
Losses 0 - 0
Any questions, please feel free to ask. Once again, please no criticism until three weeks into the system.

Good luck on your picks. I will be tailing you from the beginning! (lower bankroll though)
Can you explain how you chose your plays?
Let's see how we fare in 3 weeks time first...
I could tell you I spend great time in analysing the data, and if a play shows up on my system, I do further research and following my instincts if need be to determine whether a play is worth playing. I pride myself in not failing...
For example if the system identifies one play for two crap but in form pitchers that have matched up that day, and they are playing at a batter friendly stadium, I may decide not to play that system play and wait another day because it's not worth the risk, then again I may end up playing that play because both teams have cold bats...80% system / 20% intuition :P

hey kiwi just a small q ! , if the total lands at 8 , is the under a winner or loser for you in your book ??
There is always a result with the betting agency I use - tab.co.nz (though the odds are not good as other betting agencies). Unless you're from Oceania, it's not worth signing up for.
tab.co.nz is not always disadvantageous. It never has .5 options. Sometimes it would have a match set out 6 unders / 7 overs while international sportsbook have it set as unders / overs 7, therefore I choose to use book with the better option.
I believe with international books without the .5 margin, you will get your refund if it lands at 8.
My recommendation is to play my plays and hope the total falls under 8 tomorrow.
Hope you understand.

I would love to, but I don't want to put too much pressure on myself if this system fails, which is why I rather wait 3 weeks again and see how this system fares...I know I would get more support with explanation, but I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

I could be wrong, but I think in his first post, it appears that he may be describing that he uses RISK figure, rather than a To WIN figure.
We can wait for KP to clarify, but he is using what I see as a European style, not a North American style of wagering.
Hope this helps.
I hope I am answering this question correctly. I am in fact using a to win figure. I use my local sportsbook first which don't provide the best odds - $1.87 fixed. However, all plays provide a result, and the odds reflect that accordingly.
For example, my local sportsbook has the Tampa v Baltimore game tomorrow set at Unders 8 or Overs 9. However for most international sportsbook, it's set at Unders 8 or Overs 8. In order to get a result, you would buy the 0.5 (so 8.5 unders) which most sportsbook like bet365 does provide that option...
