So let's say I jump in today and take atl ml (-155), cws rl (-130), and dbacks rl (-175) and I put 1 unit ($50) on each. What would my (b) wager be if I lose today (or c for Arizona)?

If you lose all bets today

Atl (B) would be (155) + (50) to make $205

CWS (B) would be (130) + (50) to make $180

Ariz (C)  would be (175) + (50) to make $225

The goal is to cover your previous game loss plus profit in your case $50.

Makes sense. But i think Atl b would $77.5+50 to make it 127.5 right? And so on with the other teams right?

Did you finish the 7 year backtest yet bD? Would really like to see the numbers.

However, I like this because it's intuitive and easy to follow. I'm only going to play the series that involve fading teams with a losing record and stick with a 4 game chase. Best of luck to everyone else.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in your rules you state:
1) The has to be 5 home games in a row to complete the chase.

Well... the Astros or the Twins don't play at home for 5 games... they play at home for 3... so MIN and TOR would not be plays.

robe983 - Thanks for the catch. When I looked at future series, it was displayed incorrectly for those games for some strange reason. But you're right.

No, you are betting against STL, who just returned home from a road trip. STL starts a homestand today, so the play is Atlanta.

I'm new to this system so correct me if I'm wrong. Fading STL starting 7/5 after an 8 game road trip, they win 5 straight at home. They were the favs every time. This is a loss, no? Or does the system start later than that date?

Who the hell would take STL to lose to MIA and HOU anyway.

I would consider paying the extra $$$ on an alternate runline on the D and E bets when the team is super shitty just for peace of mind. That would have kept the Mets loss this year from occurring.

Maybe a rule for any series involving an RPI difference of more than 32 on the D and E bet should use the highest possible alternate runline your book allows as a stop loss. The odds would be horrific but losing is always worse. Just a thought.

Your answer is in the rules of the system which is in post #1 on the 1st page.

If playing a dog wager the +1.5 RL.

Interesting Fact - Since '99 the Braves have not lost 4 in a row on the road vs the run line as a dog in all 4 games.
