I will continue to post the updated records and units after each series win..Not really necessary to post everyday since everyone knows the play...
I ended up taking PHO last night FYI..i try and wait as long as possible to account for line moves....since I can only back test using the closing lines..
Official Season Update - 23-37 +21.55 units
If you don't want to play everyday (its tough to trust it) I suggest playing after 4-5 losses in a row... good luck guys

Also, another tidbit I would like to share is...so far the top dog using the Puck Line is 37-23 this season ironically enough...of course that has high juice with those wagers...

Stumbled upon your blog and I agree with your system and have been using a similar strategy. The only way to make $ betting on the NHL is on the dogs. Hit the big ones - especially home dogs!

carolina won tonight, was a huge ML home dog. but I think colorado was the largest dog overall tonight. I wonder how the system would do if you just bet the top 2 biggest dogs of the night?

I stopped playing this system but I noticed a lot of top dogs winning lately. what is the most profitable time in the past seasons usually? early or later?

For unit tracking purposes, I will use the same chase wagering structure that Etrain started with...
GAME 1 = WAGER 1 unit to win the plus money. GAME 2 = WAGER 2 units @ + money GAME 3 = WAGER 3 units @ + money ...and so on.
I have found that betting a variation of alternate lines (in some instances) will dramatically increase payouts in certain situations. For example, when we're on a 8 game slide and I like the DOG we're getting that day, I will split my 8 unit wager into some or all of the following categories. In my opinion, it helps to offset risk, increase potential payouts, and add to the overall entertainment factor when watching shitty teams slide around on the ice!
***The following example based on today's lines for CALGARY...if they were the GM8 (8 unit wager) of our chase, this might look like my strategy:
4 units...CAL +190 (4 units to win 7.6 units) 2 unit.....CAL -1/2 reg @ +291 (2 units to win 5.82 units) 1 unit.....CAL -1 full game @ +423 (1 unit to win 4.23 units) 1 units...CAL Team Total o/2.5 @ +105 (1 unit to win 1.05 units)
...a total of 8 units wagered...to win 18.7 units
I will try to post when I do...as for now - this is simply for tracking purposes. Besides, I prefer to wait until at least until the 3rd chase game to start my series anyway.
Once again, tonight's wager (tracking only at this point) is 1 unit to win 1.9 units.

I am posting this early because I am leaving town (no internet service) for the weekend. At the moment, CALGARY sits at +163 and NASHVILLE +142. I don't really see the "top dog" changing between the two - but wanted to post because typically I would like to post closer to game time.
