Desktop won't startup all of the sudden

Question

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.

2 options are

launch startup repair(recommended) when i click this it does nothing. just goes right back to this screen

Start windows normally.. just restarts the whole process back to this screen again

TRied to start in safe mode but it just restarts to this screen over and over. Cannot get anywhere..

Any input would be much appreciated

Your hard drive might be fried.  There are some utilities you can run i think to check your hard drive but I can&#x27;t remember off the top of my head.  Hopefully somebody else chimes in....

I got a boot disk. but it keeps doing the same thing. Probably dumpster time. might try to take the hard drive out itself and get one of those enclosures and see if i can recover some of the pictures/ music on there.. don&#x27;t even know if i can recover my downloaded music from itunes. or copy them back off of the ipods.. computer crashes suck

Your hard drive is fried... my laptop did the same thing.. try getting a new hard drive. :)

How old is this computer?

couple of years old. Time for a newbie. Waiting for after christmas specials. I still have this mini laptop the kids use for the time being
