any suggestions?

I am 22. Need it mostly for web surfing, word processing and the like... don't need it for computer games or anything of that sort

i currently have a sony vaio fs980 that is giving me trouble and is very slow and worn out so I am just going to get a new one... looking to spend anywhere from $500 to $900 i suppose...

Office Depot had 3 in their ad in the paper today for under $500

the acer doesnt have any reviews im assuming because it is new?

It seems like a great buy for the price

Pretty new, but sold at New Egg now.  You gotta jump on those deals when I post them, they don't last long.  You can probably get New Egg to e-mail you when they get back in stock or maybe you can search around for it.

Acer makes good laptops.
