14 turnovers in the first half for UCLA. This is replica of the TCU play we played earlier this week. This is our second Muff ball play and will be our last unless a miracle happens in the second half.

Looks like he’s 2-0 h2h against Darderi, and both are 4-1 in their previous 5 matches. Going to be a good one. Think it’ll be a 3 setter?

Julieta Pareja ML (-135) draftkings
This line is on the move at most shops and I would expect it to continue to move this morning. I would also feel comfortable with taking small game spreads.
Pareja is a 16 year old American and currently the youngest WTA player with a tour level victory. She came through qualifying here and has yet to drop a set, most recently beating Jeanjean last night 7-6 6-3. I've watched her past two matches and she's been really impressive.
Julieta recently won the Indian Wells junior event and she's one of the rare Americans who grew up with clay courts as her preferred surface. She is very comfortable playing in the altitude of Bogotá and will have the full support of the Columbian fans behind her for at least one more match. Her father is the son of a Columbian immigrant and her mother was born and raised in Bogotá.
She plays against Kawa who is very fit herself which proved to be superior to the fitness and altitude tolerance of Bouzkova in the third set yesterday as she struggled with the altitude at the end. Kawa came through qualifying here too but 4 of her 5 matches have been marathon 3 setters and she's been on court for around 14 hours (8 hours on court for Pereja). Kawa has been able to outlast her opponents so far but it should be much more difficult against a girl who is half her age and more acclimated to the conditions in Bogotá.
It's always tough to predict how a 16 year old will handle the pressure of playing for the opportunity to reach a tour level final. But she has looked extremely composed to me so far and having the raucous crowd support behind her, which she relishes in, has to help a lot. Could be different if she ends up meeting Osorio in the final though.

Looking like a loss. Time to shut it down for the week. Had a nice week, overall review:
WTA 6-0
ATP 1-1

-160 already in my bookie. I’ve been following her to but i did not bet on any of her previous games. Should have gone with my gut feeling.
BOL with the play.

I just looked that up and that's pretty impressive. A +6000 future bet. I can see how that would've been a great lottery play if you followed qualifying close enough and knew a lot about her coming into the tournament. Osorio would be a tough out in the final but not impossible.
