Finally, we have a 1000 event again, these 250-500 tournaments are always tricky because you don't know how much the players really care about them. Some players are just the poster name so they get paid to attend the tournament, so they don't really care about the tournament just want to get paid and leave.
We saw a lot of withdraws last week, a lot of the players already had their focus on this and wanted to travel in time so they can repair and settle in.
Hontama + Paolini | 1.80 | 5 units
Liang En Shuo To win 1st set | 2.62 | 1 unit
Liang En Shuo ML | 2.75 | 1 units
Rabman Theadora | 23 | 0.5 unit
Hontama + Paolini will ride these two through at the whole qualifications, They are both in great form and should be in the main draw.
Lian En Shuo the 2018 Australia Open winner for girls have won the first set in all 3 meeting between the two (lost 2 won 1), I think she will have at least a 50% chance here.
Rabman Theadora 16 years old American, I can see an upset here Flipkens Kirsten has only played 10 matches the whole year and Theadora most me a great talent to get a wildcard at the age.

I do like Katie, but I know nothing about Brantmeier Reese, a 17-year-old American. I'm sure we will see a couple of wildcards with some upsets in the first round, I'm sure also there also is going to be one in qualifying to the main draw, someone you never heard of before.
Baptise looks good on paper, young, good form, American and playing an old 27-year-old clay player in Trevisan Martina who is 2-10 on hard this year. But I don't know don't really trust her.
I do like Dolehide better, 3-1 H2H is in the best form of her life in doubles, so if she can bring that form into her single play it should be an easy win.

Wow,what a joke,or i should say choke by Katie Boulter. Ranked #20 and a -325 fav playing a 17 year old and she got absolutely schooled and curb stomped 2-0. Meanwhile, the #19th ranked player Anna Kalinskaya as a -230 fav is smoking her opponent and looks to win 2-0. I sure got suckered on that one!!!!

Always tricky to bet against these unknown kids that have not been proven yet, just take Emma Raducanu for example, lots of great players out there that you never heard of. If they get a wildcard they doing something right.

First-round qualifier underdog winners are 8-21 in the second round in the last 5 years. (Two of the winners have played against another first-round dog winner)

Nice pick anyway. Just a tough beat. Man it seems like this happens so often.. As soon as I heard there was a medical timeout I knew there was trouble. And my book doesn't do early cashout unfortunately ..
As soon she missed those two match points and got broken, I hedge and know it was over. It's such a momentum swing, we saw the same in the Vickery game, she was facing a matchpoint hold and broke back straight after and took the 2nd set.

Paolini deserves the be in the main draw and she has play really good tennis recently and she has been good to me this year.
Trevisan is the nr 1 seed with 10 wins in her last 11 matches, she is ranked 66 at the moment. She is playing Reese Brantmeier who turns 17 today, HBD to her, she did great in the first round winning over Katie, but I think the element of surprise and the risk of underestimating here is gone now. In the first round there was no pressure on all these kids, now when they won all of a sudden everyone is talking about them.
Now people will expect her to win again especially playing at home, I expect Trevisan to be ready and win this quite easily in two sets. I posted before about the first round dogs in previous years here, not many survive in the second round. Last week Reese lost quite easily against 263 ranked Marcela Zacarias, so no I don't think
Lian - Dolehide can't pick a winner here, like them both so going for the over instead, Dolehide did serve great yesterday and I expect Lian to take at least one set.
Hontama M is in great form, she did really well last week and going to stick with her here.
Can't see Ruse miss the main draw, and can't see Govortsova making the main draw, so going with Diays. Polansky is just a really bad player now days, should be an easy win for Van De Zandschulp who did it really good in Us Open

I have been keeping an eye on Schnur for the last couple of weeks, he has played some great tennis, I watch the match against Pouille and he was brilliant in the first set, don't think Pouille had more than 2 points in his serving game that first set.
Looking at his results this year he is ofter undervalued he has won 15 matches as an underdog.
Karlovic Ivo is now 42 years old, he only has his serve and nothing more, I expect this to go over as well. Waiting for the odds on that
