Every Write up I have made so far about Kyrgios has been for this match. For this moment. Every match Kyrgios plays there isn't the question of talent but rather the question of if he actually wants to play. In my experience there is only one thing we know for sure about Nick Kyrgios. And that is that he lives for the bright lights; when he is on the biggest stage he puts all bullshit aside and he comes to play. His two matches against Djokovic this year he took all 4 sets. He aced the best returner of all time a ridiculous number of times. His lone match against Federer he lost but he took the best player of all time to 3 tie breaks in what was arguably the most electric match of the year. Kyrgios will be all business today. As flawed as it may be, nick Kyrgios picks up a racquet everyday for moments like this. Prime time, number 1 in the world, and likely the whole crowd to be against him. This is when the player that frustrates all of us on a daily basis thrives. Give me Nick Kyrgios

Congrats man, wish I saw this thread before I burned 2u on Nadal. Looking to make that back today. You think Kyrgios run continues against Ferrer?
Not sure still looking into the match up. Nadal was Kyrgios motivator the whole tournament and now that's gone, so I don't know 100 percent if we are going to get the guys who is engaged or the guy who got his number 1 victory and just wants to go home. Interesting statistic to think about tho is I went back the last 3 years and after a win vs Djokovic/nadal/fed/wawrinka he is 0-5. Even though they were all to quality opponents in raonic/querrey/isner.. But not all of those matches were on his favorite hard stuff. And honestly with Kyrgios I think he is the one guy where all of the numbers go out the window... just my two cents

well said Kid and at least we are the same page as Kyrgios motivation. He got what he wanted in Ralpha, does he continue to show up. I will await your pick as you seem to be in the players heads
