dang. i m gonna have a hard time not unloading on Caroline here. they met last year in the semis in New Haven and Caroline destroyed Flavia. Woz has never lost to Flavia!
I really think she would have gotten the victory if they had played. Would have been a good match to watch and learn from. Too bad Flavia was injured.

Yeah just last week I cashed with Wozniacki as a dog to Pennetta. A dog! Just because she had one bad loss to Bartoli. Big deal, one fluke blip on the radar and now Flavia is the fave. lmao.
Wozniacki more than anyone exposes Flavia's mental deficiencies. I seriously think Flavia might not get more than one win over Caroline in her entire career. And in the middle opf Caro's hot run I do not think tonight is the night.
I do not think Flavia will beat her until they get the odds right and make Caro -250 or so. These close to pick em odds are ridiculous.
Yea the value was on Woz for sure. Really think we had a winner there BP. Too bad.

Sorry gents, just not feeling it today. Trying to implement some restraint and actually be a smart gambler for once rather then the degenerate person that I am :) Don't really like anything all that much today. My leans are TDB, Viktor, Elena and Petrova but nothing that screams value to me. Will take the day off and hope for a better opportunity in the finals. As always, wish you guys the best of luck on your wagers today. Peace - - - MAK

Glad I laid off yesterday as the only lean that would have hit was Petrova, feel good about myself laying off in the correct spot. Like what I see today in the finals and hoping the end off the tourney with a bang. Good luck fellas.
SERGIY STACKHOVSKY (-138) - - - Stack is slowly becoming one of my favorite players. We all have had an eye on him for a while now, he usually pops up as a value filled dog. I find myself refusing to bet against him the past few months, against any caliber opponent knowing this kid has the game to defeat anyone, on any given day. Thus I stayed away from De Bakker yesterday despite me being very high on his game. Stack is making a name for himself in this tourney and should cap it off with his 4th ATP title tonight. Stack has been much more impressive then Istomin in this tournament. Istomin needed 3 sets to get by 71st ranked Lacko. Dennis then could have easily lost the game to 100th ranked Gabashvilli if it wasn't for a choke in the 3rd set tie break. Many individuals think Dennis was impressive beating Viktor Troicki to get into the finals but in my opinion Viktor was far from impressive. Viktor got by Radek due to a litany of unforced errors and a horrible service game from Radek getting constantly broken at every opportunity. Troicki did not look good at all against Istomin yesterday in my opinion yet could have easily knocked off Dennis in straight sets. Losing the 1st set tie-break 12-10 then easily taking care of Istomin in the 2nd set but crumbling in the third. Nothing about that win was impressive from Istomin. On the other hand Stack knocked off Robredo, Baggy and destroyed young gun TDB yesterday. 3 top 50 players in a row and Baggy and TDB were in very good form, very impressive week thus far for Stack. Dennis Istomin has only beaten 4 top 50 ranked players in the last 6 months yet the Ukrainian bomber took out 3 in the past 3 days. Stack's ATP finals record is an impeccable 3-0 including his last final 2 months ago where he dismantled Tippsy 6-3 and 6-0 in less then an hour of play. Dennis Istomin has no ATP finals experience and is coming off back to back +2 hour 3 setters while Stack is coming off a straight sets victory against an up and coming star and he didn't face a single break point in the match. All signs point to the player with more skill, more finals experience, less fatigue, better form and overall potential. Stack gets some "stack" for Mak. 5 UNITS UKRAINIAN BOMBER - - -
CAROLINE WOZNIACKI (-250) - - - I was so so impressed my Elena last night. What an ultimate fighter, she had grit and courage and really had a chance to win that game. It was not due to a lack of effort or execution from the dangerous danish dame. Elena was so precise on her returns, placement of the ball was perfect, yet sweet Caroline's movement and determination was just too good. This girl never ever backs down, I love her tenacity it is constant no matter what situation she is in during the match. I have seen her come back from a set down more times then I can count and she just continues to brim with confidence and never back down. After losing the first set she doesn't lose her swagger and comes back to take it to 3. During the decisive tie-break she found herself down 0-3 yet still managed to claw back and win. I don't think bettors can ever question Woz's motivation to win games. She is a competitive beast and I truly think she wants to win as much as she wants the money and that is a rarity in sports these days. Woz wants to "Jordan" this event with a three-peat, I believe she gets her 14th win in a row at New Haven today. Last year she easily took care of Vesnina in straight sets 6-2 and 6-4. Despite Pet's recent success I suspect a similar thrashing today. Woz will not come out flat as she did today, look for her to break early and never look back. Woz will go for her 4th title of the year and motivation will be very high to go into USO with another title win. Petrova has not won a title in 2 years and I suspect she will have to wait a bit longer to put an end to that streak. Woz did play until late last night however I doubt fatigue will be a factor, she is a 20 year old who has only played 2 full matches en route to the final while her opponent has gone through 4 full matches and been on the court a full two-and-a-half hours longer then her. Sweet Caroline Ba Ba Ba. 2.5 UNITS DANGEROUS DANISH DAME - - -

I think Wozniacki should win but then again there is no value. Kirilenko imho plays similarly to Wozniacki. Petrova, after playing really bad in 1st set, established her power game later and won comfortably. Laying so much on Wozniacki to win is risky without big reward if she wins. I had Petrova yesterday, this time i'm not taking sides so GL Mak

with you on Stakhovsky, 1.25 to win 1 here. I love Istomin and think you underrate him some but agree with your opinion on Stak 100%. I usually prefer power to everything and Istomin has much more power here but I think his form is not that great this week. He is getting broken a lot while I think Stak has been much more solid on serve. I also love his variety just like you and think it might give him enough of an edge here to get the W....
Great writeup on that one. I had a half unit on Nadia +190 too and think I could have beat you! So close yet so far on that one, lol. Debatable which side was the right side of the value at that line.

Great end to the week for you Mak. I hit 5 of the last 6 in Pilot Pen (only miss being a small bet on Nadia +190 that I do not think was a bad bet) so feel good going into the big one. Confidence is everything.
This will be my first Slam where I have live betting and I am extremely excited about the prospect.
