Bouchard +3.5 games (-120)...im not calling the upset here, but this match is very important to Bouchards entire year, if not career...she needs to win 2 matches here for points and rankings, or else shes never going to get direct entry into future events at this ranking...shes from Montreal, and 2 yrs ago she was completely embarassed by her play and even more so her attitude off the court...this could be a career defining week for her...i have to believe she will give 1000% max effort and this match will be extremely close...

If Buzar chokes this away, no more betting for me this week....clearly i am infected with the losing odor from last week.

Abanda +5.5 games (-120)...there is no reason to back Stephens here in my opinion...it's either Abanda or pass...im not bold enough to call for the upset here, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Sloane "slips" here in this one and allows the home town girl to slide into the next round...Stephens is hot or cold with effort...her talent is unquestionable, but is she really going to brind max effort for a random unknown wildcard like this one? maybe before she gets herself into the match mentally, Abanda has gotten to a 4-1 quick start, and then the confidence grows within the dog, and the +5.5 games seems like a nice buffer....maybe i'm stretching it here, but Abanda looked more like a young and wild Venus Williams last night, than a random tampon scrub who hasn't done basically anything in a career where much was expected from her...perhaps Abanda comes into this match with a chip on her shoulder as she has been heavily criticized locally for her openly complaining that she's not getting any publicity or mention for being Canada's top ranked women's player...I mean ok let's take a deep breathe girlfriend, you are never going to get the press Bouchard got...she made a Wimbledon finals...what exactly have you ever done? Still....go Canada
