Nadal winning the french is a bit over -200 now..

i should of hit this when it was -150 i think a couple months ago

at that price wouldnt you make more turning your bet over on every match. unless your looking for middling opportunities later on in the tournament

if he gets fed in the final, nadal will be around -280 to -350 depending on how they play up til then.

yeah i made a mistake (i can admit it) i should of bet nadal at -150 ... when healthy and still in his prime he cant lose on clay...

Do you guys think its worth betting it at -240/-250?  i still think he wins but not too fond of the juice.

ya i no itll be stupid odds the first couple of matches. but even if hes get to matches in the -750 neighborhood and is a -300 favorite in the final i think youd make a little more money.  could be wrong though, i havent dont the math yet

quick guess at analysis...

well, you won't bet nadal until the QF probably b/c he will be -3000 until then...so...

if he was:

QF -1500  (bet 7.5 to win .5)
SF -750    (bet 7.5 to win 1)
F  -300   (bet 7.5 to win 2.5)

so you can bet 7.5 each time to win 4...or

Future -250   (bet 7.5 to win 3)

now in this scenario, the first payout looks better.  but if nadal doesn't face federer (which is good possibility), he might be -600 in the final (in which case, the second payout would be better).

-240/-250 ish is steep.  You gotta figure that will be his lowest price in a final, providing he plays Federer then.  Against anyone else, his price will be much, much higher.

Keep in mind this is now best of 5.

For my money, I'd say Nadal -250 is worth a tiny bet, but not much more due to chalk.  Really can't see how he loses unless he's injured (which is always possible).

completely agree...except i think it's worth a medium sized bet, which is what i have on him.
