Nadal/Kygrios

i absolutely love kygrios’ game as much as the next guy, but this couldn’t be a worst matchup. 3 reasons why this match will not be close. 1) kygrios is probably the worst conditioned professional athlete 2) Nadal heard kygrios comments made about him last month 3)Nadal has a good memory from years ago when kygrios upset him @wimbledon. These reasons coupled with nadal’s will to win and kygrios lax attitude spells straight set win for Rafa. I hate to do it but I’m goin big on Rafa -4.5. Talent wise kygrios can matchup w all the greats, it’s his attitude where he is far behind. Nick gets bent over the wood shed in this one. This is a play where I absolutely would not be upset if I lost because I think it would be fantastic to see nick beat Rafa again, just don’t see it happening this TIME.

Nadal has to play this dude in Round 2 of a major because Kyrgios doesnt try so often against stiffs that hes now no longer even ranked! This is the type of match Nadal shouldnt be seeing until Round 4 at earliest.  But because he's a douche his ranking gets suppressed.

Anyone that has watched their previous 6 matchups (3-3 career) knows Nick is a very tough opponent for Nadal...because Nadal is always going to get the Nick that tries...not the Nick who casually hits neutral ball tweeners in the middle of the court against Pierre Hugues Herbert.  Kyrgios is a problem for all the top players...because they get the Nick that cares.

The spread is done, 4-4 in the 4th

Nadal had never won a TB with Nick in 6 matches heading into today. Today he won both breakers and was able to survive the match.  Now Nick can go back to lolly gagging and wishing he was playing basketball instead until the Australian Open. Maybe he will try in the US Open but I wouldnt count on it.

Nadal said after the match Kyrgios should be winning grand slams but only tries against the top players. Yeah no kidding.
