Lulu Sun is having a historic run has a needed extra day's rest and has progressed through qualifying and now beating higher seeded players making her way into a spot on center court in the round of 16 facing home fav Emma Raducanu. Emma beat an under achieving Greek player Sakkari.Daria Kasatkina thrashed her in 2 sets recently on grass in the final at Eastbourne.
At +500 odds I will sprinkle some by tomorrow...she has made me money these past few weeks and she very well be the Cinderella story ...or she may get spanked...

https://www.essentiallysports.com/atp-wta-tennis-news-wimbledon-will-emma-raducanu-face-the-wrath-of-centre-court-crowd-wild-proof-of-her-withdrawal-sparks-concern/ This news article suggests possible backlash towards Emma for withdrawing from mixed doubles nixxing Andy Murray out of one of his last appearances. Also, she mentioned she has some stiffness in her right wrist.
I don't buy it. It's been nearly 50 years since a British woman has won Wimbledon and Raducanu is now the 3rd highest favorite to do so. How could they not back her? Bigger concern would probably be Emma staying off social media to avoid seeing the backlash before the match. It's not uncommon for players to withdraw from matches like this when they're making a singles run but this is a rare occasion where a mixed doubles match was a huge deal.

Raducanu has definitely come out with some nerves here. Not the same confidence level as previous two matches. Probably does have some mental issues with all the noise coming into this match. But I'm hoping she'll settle in and get going.

Sun is winning it all this year. The top women’s players have been knocked out and I think she wins her next match for sure. Let’s see how far she goes.
