My foolishness, eh? You have given no evidence, or opinion, whatsoever, to refute the original point in the post. But do you ever do anything but make terrible MMA picks and click the yellow logo button?

This makes no sense whatsoever. How is he up a set and a break and a smaller favorite??
Someone f'd up this line.
You are damn right. It is a huge joke. And the reason that it is not as dominant as expected is not convincing because one-break Roddick did not even dominate like that in his prime. One break and it is over and he never got fancy.... I would be damned shocked if he lost. This line screams trap but what is the trap? Everything was going EXACTLY as expected in that match.
I do not bet faves but as a dog bettor they are sticking out a piece of meat in my face and I am not gonna put one penny on it. They fucked up. If you want another fuck up, Sabine Lisicki was 55-1 to win on WTA side (semifinalist last year; struggled this year) before this tournament started. She was on a bad losing streak and only about -150 to win her first match vs a good and improving player Matric. She TROUNCED her 6-2 6-4 and looked amazing doing it, looking back to good form, and those morons put her at 65-1 AFTER this!
So I stopped by to say I have two units on Sabine at 65-1 on one of the stupidest futures lines I have ever seen. She has a clear path to Maria and she was up a double break on Maria in the Wimbledon semis last year before getting mental.
They are making a lot of mistakes in the updates on these futures bets. Just yesterday morning 5dimes opened up the possibility of me watching the Barthel Zvon match finish at 4 am while they left the futures open until 5:30. The rain delay screwd it but they were basically going to let me watch the match see who won and get the same futures odds on the winner as she would have had before the match, a tight 50-50 contest.
5dimes is just not on their game this week at all and I hope you guys make them pay for it. For all the trash that got talked on you in this thread you made a damn good point.

all this trash talkin makes it look like its a bunch of 12 year olds instead of men trying to make money. Despite that this place has a few gems. for anyone looking for tennis thoughts also check out tennisforums.com and menstennisfoprums.com and the betfair boards. but other than those two sources this is still by far the third best place on the net to read about tennis bets.
I am ghostin everywhere but I wanted to post about Sabine. And on the Roddick thing I was honestly hoping something had something compelling like an injury rumor but there is nothing out there.

btw Sabine is -500 against a real bad ballbasher with no power and after she beats her she is going to be 30-1 max on the next update because it is only gonna be after another beatdown that they realize she should have been 30-1 max BEFORE this match. A -500 winning should not change the odds that much but she will show her good form and remind them, and they currently have a blank spot with regard to her potential in this tournament. I know it is impossible to ever tell but this girl is a massive talent, grass is by far her best surface and we are flat out in the dark era of women's tennis? Does she have a 2% shot? That justifies a play at 50-1 and the odds here are 65-1. I would only call this play out if I thought it was definitive value and she for SURE has at least a 2% chance. I think she has about a 10% chance myself in which case this is a massive steal.
diatribe over but mark my words this futures bet is about to go way way down and you definitely want to be holding that ticket if she plays Maria because on grass she will have a shot for sure, same as she had a shot to upset her last year. I watched that match and the day is coming where Sabine will blow Maria off the court. I could tell she was not ready and hey, might not be ready this year either, but at these odds? She is the best super-longshot futures bet I have ever seen. Meanwhile Raonic is 50-1 on the other side and nowhere near the value IMO.

Sharp is a troll. Don't mind him. He's on a board for tennis during the biggest tourney of the yr and hasnt given out 1 pick. He doesn't have time to be a douche however.

I'm not sure Martic, who had only played 4 competitive grass court matches prior, is really a yardstick on how well Sabine is playing to be honest. Martic was up a break in the first set and then proceeded to lose her next 2 service games to hand the first set to Lisicki. After that it was just downhill for the Croat.
Nothing about that performance from Lisicki dispelled my doubt around Sabine coming into the tournament. A better marker to her form IMO was her performance against Baby Radwanksa last week in Birmingham where she was atrocious. Barely was able to keep the ball in play. Also Nick Bollettieri who is writing for the Uk paper the Independent had cast a lot of doubt around her leading up to her first round match. Apparently she was training at his academy over the past 2 weeks and he had commented how she was really lacking confidence.

I'll give out Federer -8500 tomorrow.

Here is the point... she was very doubtful going into this tournament because of everything you listed. In the WW thread at tenniforum almost everyone predicted Matric, who despite hardly playing on grass has improved a ton this year and has a game perfectly suited for it. I did not catch the match but Sabine starting out slowly and coming back that strongly... come on rod, she went on a 10-4 run to end it and did not look impressive at all during it? I know Martic will feed you errors... Your opinion contradicts about 30 I just read that watched the match and were at the very least "moderately" impressed by Sabine.
If you have a 55-1 before the tournament in a VERY volatile situation... shaky form and confidence, a deadly first round opponent, the losing streak... and suddenly she shows up in the best way possible and wins and moves on to the next round with full confidenc, how the hell do you then open her at 65-1? What, was Serena so convincing that everyone gets another ten now? Haha! I am glad you posted but there is no arguing the value relative to what THEY set it at, the supposed experts.
If you do not want a piece of that 65-1 superflyer so be it. 1.5% chance justifies it rod. If she has a 5% chance to win this tournament you have triple the value. This is a huge steal. I have watched Sabine many times and know her talent... this girl will make many slam finals in the future and I am sure she is going to hoist the trophy at some point. There is areally no dominant player and this tour is a joke and her potential is just massive on this surface.
I like Petra to win this and will invest in that later but there is no denying that this is one of the best looking longstho futures bets possible. Did she get injured during the Matric match? No? Then they fucked up no matter what she looked like before that coreline-beatdown because she looked like shit BEFORE this tournament and that is the very reason she was a steal to begin with
I looked at her at 55-1 before the Matric line and thought about it. I knew if she trounced her I would feel like I got a steal. She trounced her and I felt like shit about passing the chance. Then they open her at even better odds and I am sorry but that just has e shaking my head with how stupid they are. If you guys do not want to take advantage so be it but the value is definite and I do not often say that around here.
I hope Sabine gives me the chance to bump this thread later cuz you know I want to after this ;)

I do agree with your point on her draw though, for someone who is out of form and lacking confidence she couldn't have hoped for a better one
You can say I won't cash but I know you cannot truly deny the value thanks for giving me your analysis on the match and it does carry more stock than most. I know you pay closer attention than most of them and are a good one so I hope you dont take that last post as a knock. I was hoping I would draw a good poster out of the woodwork with my post and it worked so I am happy

sry for raping your thread and making it Sabine's bitch but it was only about a -1800 anyway I'll stop so you guys can talk about the killer parlays you are gonna juice Roddick wtith etc
I guess some rich guys have a feeling or an itch on this match, if it is like this someplace other than 5dimes or on the real markets
it went up about a 100 points at 5d last I checked. people parlaying it as expected. I doubt it does a Berdych on them, and he was playing a stud talent anyway where Roddick is playing a guy who is probably studying for his business degree same as the one Fed ran over
