Big Kahunas Friday 3* Djokovic 3-0 -154 3* Murray -109
n3- could you shed some info on the Murray play and why so big? I respect your opinion in tennis so would be valuable to hear some analysis on why you are so sure that Murray will beat Federer on his best surface and very good form.

The line, to me, is practically begging for action on the 7 time
Wimbledon champ simply due to him being named Federer and being at plus
money. How could you not right?
Is Federer really in very good
form though? Sure he's won 10 in a row but the list of players...not a
lot of quality grass courters there. Murray's last 10? Much more
impressive to me and he's handed out some vicious beatdown sets on
similar opponents. Some will argue that's sports math and you can't
compare A vs B vs C but I've seen a majority of those matches from both
and there was another gear in Murray's game. He's also only lost to 1 player this season since February! I would call that very good form.
The
tv pundits can talk about Edberg's impact and what he's added to help
Federer's game but the Swiss maestro just doesn't have the stamina like
he used to and he's lost some pop on his groundies which is especially
noticeable in longer rallies against the top guns on tour. I'm also
weary of his cupcake draw and being so untested coming into this one.
There's the expression about working your work through the draw and
raising your level as the tournament progresses; Federer's still in low
gear due to his opposition while Murray's already ramped up thanks to
Karlovic and a feisty performance from Pospisil. This is not the type of
match you want to play catch up in. The only saving grace for
Federer would be if he has an immaculate serving day. That's his main
weapon now and it's a very determining factor into how successful he'll
be against top flight opponents. He could get away with a mediocre
serving day before due to his outstanding groundstrokes but those have
slowly eroded with time and aren't as dangerous as they once were.
They're still potent but he's losing more and more baseline rallies to
weaker opponents than in the past. Murray's the 2nd best returner on the
planet right now so he'll be applying plenty of pressure to start the
rallies and will be pouncing on any serves he can.
Will this be
tight? Most likely. Murray's second serve is still his weak link and
he's still prone to a lack of aggression but Federer's chances at a slam
are long gone and he'll wilt the deeper this match goes.
Murray's physicality to prevail in 4 or 5 sets

fed is not the same player over 5 sets as he is over 3.
Murray did take MTO for his shoulder issue earlier in the tourney, but there is no info on how serious it is. Other than that, Murray now is a better player.
i'd stay away from 3-0 on Djo.
usually it is a bad matchup for Gas since he has no power to hit through Djo's defence, but at the moment Gas is playing as good as he ever has in his life. Crowd will be behind him, one can count on it.
I do believe Gas has at least a set in him.
Good luck to all

have to agree on Murray.

I do NFL , NHL, and MMA as well Coach. Rarely post those anywhere though. Tennis is my first passion so I focus on that most of the year and share what I can.
Damn, how good was Roger? Immaculate serving day happened and he backed it up with unreal groundstrokes. Fed shut me up good.
Passive Murray just couldn't help but show up against that display and he played well for about 80% of the match too. Really high quality from both but Federer was pure dynamite today.

Going over the ladies final now. Will post a mens final pick and maybe a bonus doubles play.

As much as a love roger, I'm torn a bit here... With roger demolishing Murray, the odds on djoker will be a lot less. Might be a good spot with everyone soon to be riding roger. I already have a bet on djoker (before jus match with Gasquet) to win title so I either leave it or add $$ on roger. I could even add more on djoker who I feel will obviously challenge Feds more. Fed is an unbelievable front runner, if djoker can even get in Rogers head a bit by breaking his serve then total different match. Andy only had 1 break point the whole match

Want to see No1e use the backhand up the line and come to net off that if he's willing to get up there. Serve as always will be huge here on grass and Fed will be tested finally I'm thinking.
Lean to Novak here and decided to throw a little down on him. GL man and enjoyed reading some of your info...

Respect Fed Express to the nth degree, but if he wins this tomorrow, it might be most amazing thing I have seen in tennis since Krajicek beat Pete (Strictly due to Fed's age).
Fed is a Rembrandt, but I just can't see Nole losing French and Wimby B2B, but that's me even outside of how good Fed has looked to this point.

Couple of things to factor tomorrow with the potential rain delays and the probability of the roof eventually closing. Not sure if they'll close it right away based on the weather reports or let them get in 30-40 mins of play in 2-3 hours before doing it.
I think Fed has to get it done in 4 sets or less cause I can't see him winning in that 5th set. Hope he continues the same level he brought against Murray just to see how Djokovic responds.

hi guys...my thoughts are if fed plays and serves like he did vs murray, then he will win..his best chance of winning a major comes on the grass at wimbledon..murray played well and federer made him look very average..joker is having a sick year but isn't playing as offensive as fed..should be a great match, hopefully it matches last year's 5 set epic
n3gative, over should be good
enjoy the match fellas
