1) he hit his peak in 2011 and the first two mos of 2012, which is when he won 4 out of 5 slams. THAT was his peak, not now.
2) in 2011 and early 2012, fed and rafa were injured and not playing well, and Andy had not taken flight yet. Djoko benefitted from that.
3) 4 mos until the french and 5 mos until wimbledon. just watch how much the rest of tennis closes the gap during this time
