$50,000 bet between Teddy and The Prez
i actually gave them a chance.....these guys suck!!! bottom line is bookmaker.com prolly is paying to make picks that they think people will follow when clearly they are wrong! this is a scam people.......be careful. stop giving them credibility by listening to the garbage they put on the radio
You've got to be kidding me. Bookmaker.com isn't paying to make picks, if they knew exactly what side was going to win, dont you think they would just have someone bet it for them???
If you really think there is a "right" or "wrong" side to these games, I got a bridge to sell you. You know exactly how these guys feel when they get up in the morning? You know when the players will hit their shots and when they'll miss their layups? This is basically a coin toss, but you're laying 11 to win 10 every time, in the long run you'll go broke.

No offense MRSARASOTA, but this argument just doesn't make any sense to me. It is like saying if you only play 3 hands of blackjack every time you go to the casino instead of 30, you have a better chance at winning longterm.
Now if it is thought you will get more quality in the picks by limiting it to 3, I can see the reasoning, but if someone caps games, and can do it at a 55-57% rate longterm, I don't see how giving more picks would be a detriment. If you pick 50%, but limit the amount of plays, you are delaying the inevitable...0$ bankroll.
Just my 2 cents...

you've got to be kidding me! the books are the ones that set the lines....they can set it at whatever they want. ya they could be wrong but they know a lot more then we do. If you have 2 guys who have a lot of people listening to them and potentially tailing their picks, bookmaker can have them pick a game that the book feels they have a better chance of winning. its prolly not true but I definitely think its possible

I'm not trying to knock your picks because you've obviously been way more successful than I have, but c'mon Oklahoma ST on the road against a Texas team that has come off two straight home losses?
Now show us why you are who you are.

Well put thotho - that is probably why these bets are so rare between handicappers and especially in the public. The bottom line is we need to get folks to listen to the show - its incredible and we want to promote it.
With that said and Teddy and I spoke about this - this is what we do for a living - we sell plays and we are confident in our picks - but yes we can go cold and teddy has been on fire for 1 year (so he is due) but our customers know us - we both have very good business going and close to 10 years each doing this. It will for sure affect our business negatively if we suck - but only for a short period of time - we both have a very loyal following and have been making money for customers for years.
I will tell you this - both Teddy and I will be gutted and i mean gutted if we publicly suck so hard - but lets worry about that in 10 weeks.
OT would be one intense insane week - lol.
In the above statement you say that Teddy has been on fire for the last year..."1 year" to use your exact words. What do you consider to be on fire? I would consider it 60% or above. Ted hit 52% overall in combined sports in the last year.
516-471 with 32 pushes= 52.27%
Arena Football 39-27 1 push
MLB 123-124 15 pushes
NBA 128-103 2 pushes
NCAAB 89-109 6 pushes
NCAAF 67-61 4 pushes
NFL 65-46 with 4 pushes
Is that honestly what you consider to be on fire Prez? I'm not trying to be rude, but maybe consider doing your research first. Those records are horrendous for a professional gambler and financial sports advisor aside from his NFL picks. I would be embarrassed if I was Teddy. Good for you guys for making a living on sports betting by selling your picks and betting them yourselves. I personally would have a lot more respect for you both if you put your yearly records up on your pages as well as your breakdown by sports. My guess is that might not make business sense for either of you though judging by Teddy "No Ballgame" Servansky last years worth of picks.
I'll have to check out your record as well Prez to see what's up with your game. I think it's awesome that Covers runs a clean site that keeps the records straight for your wins and losses. I respect them immensely for that as it's a great service to their visitors, supporters and customers and it's the right thing to do especially considering it's not the norm for this industry. I'm ashamed to say that I was sold on Teds rhetoric and recently advertised NBA and NCAA win streaks to buy 2 days worth of guaranteed picks. I figured why not see if I can make my capping life easier by investing in someone who has the time to analyze sports all day as oppossed to my part time analysis. Every day I work my hardest to help business's save money and to unwind I like to wager a responsible portion of my paycheck that is set aside for entertainment purposes. I figured why not invest in someone who probably knows more. When he went 1-5 in the last 2 days I wasn't mad I simply said "Hmm, maybe I should have done my homework on his yearly record". So I did and the above results are what I found. Anyone who has a record like that isn't worth investing in as far as I'm concerned. The fault lies at my own feet for being lazy and not doing my homework. Ted, maybe 2008 was just a bad year for you and if so please feel free to step in and defend yourself and post your yearly confirmable records since you've been a Covers Expert.
3 Conclusions:
1. Thanks again to Covers for running an honest site.
2. 100% my fault for not thoroughly looking into the man I was investing in. Shame on me.
3. Props to Teddy on being a great salesman and to be able to look in the mirror every morning and somehow convince himself that he is a great financial sports advisor while hitting 52% for a year. How you get on the radio without laughing at yourself everyday is amazing based on your last year.

Teddy or The Prez whos having Bulls as there play for the 50,000 dollar 50 pick contest???????????
-- And then with 30 seconds left and Miami ahead by 13, the Heat called timeout, which seemed to get the Bulls more upset than they were all game.
Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro, always spirited as a player, reportedly told players to remember what the Heat had done to show them up with assistant Del Harris gesturing toward the Heat bench after the game, apparently not in one of those "good game" sportsmanship gestures.
"They were just calling timeout to set up a play or something," Del Negro told assembled reporters with an edge after the game. "I don't know what they were doing. There's 30 seconds to go in the game. They're up 15 or 13 or whatever. But, whatever, we'll play them again."

i feel sorry for you bro

Prez i'm sure there is a reason why your an expert, but stop picking random games that you don't know anything about. Make a more public pick like a duke/carolina type game, or just something you know a little more about.
I'm not trying to knock your picks because you've obviously been way more successful than I have, but c'mon Oklahoma ST on the road against a Texas team that has come off two straight home losses?
Now show us why you are who you are.
Prez, I going to quote your own biography:
"Team you avoid when wagering: All the bad teams in every league. I don’t spent a lot of time trying to look great calling the worst team in the league +18 vs. the best team and saying I told you so after. You will never find me on the worst team in any league, unless I am playing a total."
DNR is right! What up with all these bad teams your are picking?
Well said I PLAY 4 Keeps! I have subscribed to Prez since Jan 21 of this year and pay $400 a month and for this horrendous numbers (exclude MMA):
Win 62; Lose 62; Push 3 for Prez (50%)
Because the line changes when I place my bet, my record is:
Win 60; Lose 66; Push 1
That is a sucky 47%
Since I bet $100 (luckily) to try him out, I am now in the negative $1260 and plus $400 to subscribe for a total of $1660. WOW!
People are right, no one put a gun to my head and tell me to subscribe. But you know what, if I do not my job in my current work place, I would be fired! Just like no one put a gun to my boss head to hire me. So PREZ, I am quoting Donald Trump: "YOUR ARE FIRED!"

Although it's only been three (3) days for Prez & Teddy, not a good start. Is it just a marketing stunt and they are not giving their "top" plays? Is it just a bad start? Or are they really no different than us, but were just smart enough with to claim to be good and find a way to sell picks? I have bought picks in the past and both time I was unhappy with the results. But with Prez & Teddy if they don’t hit at least 63% in 50 days (short time) this was a bad idea, because everyone who tunes into the show and reading this post will I’m sure tell all of their friends. With that said good luck guys!
Also, Boston -2.5 is the pick of the day.
