I truly hope your 25 pick will bring you that wonderful prize .
Tough you said protecting your pick is not something you plan of doing the jump from 25k to 100k is not that trivial and has serious meaning for you not rethink that option

Brackson anything I can do to help.....I'm just enjoying the ride and fun with you. I'm a late comer because I am not on covers a lot. I am glad I caught this thread. You seem like a great person and deserving of whatever the outcome.
I wish you, wifey & the doggies all the best and I believe that what goes around comes around. It seems as though you're reaping the benefits of being a humble and appreciative person from how you've helped others in the past.
I'm not claiming to be a psychic or anything, I just believe in karma and you're time has come. Just look at all the lives you are affecting just from a simple contest.
Enough said have a great rest of your life and I am glad I had the opportunity to take a small part in your quest to 25 wins.

I'm gonna make a prediction right now while everybody is all hyped up. Just like the 4 minute mile and so many other barriers that "THEY" said couldn't be broken what Brackson13 is doing is going to open up the floodgates. Because now we know it's possible. By our very nature we're gamblers and risk takers.
Some of us have been held back by our own doubts of thinking how impossible it all is. Brackson13 is showing us not only is it possible he's doing it against the conventional wisdom IE picking everyday, picking favorites etc. The bottomline now is now we know this can be done the sky is the limit. Watch you will see how many Cappers will get long streaks as a result of this epic streak.

You should make your pick then bet 50k the other side. With your luck the line might move and you could middle for 150k. Hard to pass a guaranteed $45k

i'm more than a little terrified that i will be on the top consensus pick for the second consecutive evening, but just like the rockets tonight i feel that the blazers should be favored by double digits in brooklyn tomorrow. recent schedules are similar, brooklyn has had to travel more as portland has been at home the last couple games, but the big edge to me in this one is psychological.
for brooklyn, they're without d williams and teletovic, and joe johnson revealed that he's been playing hurt for some time now, and his play has been very pedestrian this entire month. also, there are multiple recent examples of this team being mentally weak. first example, they lost a home game to the celtics a couple weeks ago, which is a team they should beat at home. teams in the right place mentally would have come out in the next game and blown the doors off philly, but they came out and lost another home game to the worst team in the league. next example is the last two games. they laid an egg two games ago against the clippers in LA, losing by 39. teams in the right place mentally come out pissed off with tons of energy after an embarrassing performance like that, but they followed it up two days later with a 35-point loss to a much weaker utah team. add to that the fact that they've been traveling after games continually since january 14th, and they will be doing so again after this one. just not sure they are talented enough right now with the injuries, and i'm also not sure they are in the right psychological frame of mind to be competitive in this game.
on the other side, i think the fact that aldridge was going to miss the rest of the season and then he's suddenly back and better than ever is like a shot in the arm for the blazers. i think that has galvanized the team and should get them back to playing the consistent basketball that we got so used to seeing them play earlier in the season. this is a look-ahead possibility for portland with games against cleveland and atlanta to follow, but i think they will get the right message from the coaching staff after the look-ahead loss to boston just a few nights past.
can't believe the streak has gotten to this point, or that i've been fortunate enough to be in this situation. win or lose, this has been the experience of a lifetime, and i thank everyone in the covers community that's offered support, well wishes, encouragement, etc. throughout. have a wonderful evening, and here's to hoping we can make it one more day.
PS probably going to listen to this song about 400 times tomorrow. one of my favorite artists. dedicating it to the basketball gods. may they smile upon me for just one more day.

He wins an additional 75K if he gets to win 25 wins.
