Brackson my only advice to you my man is be true to your philosophy. Don't pander to the crowd. "We want Barabbas" You see how that turned out. Think it through and most importantly take your time. The clock has reset. You have a new 24 because that last shot hit the rim and we got the rebound. You're the PG, call the play and let's run it.

i will be taking golden state -9.5 at home against chicago tomorrow night for the $100k.

first and perhaps most importantly, weather.com is calling for mid-50's and partly-cloudy skies at game time, with little to no chance of the game being postponed due to inclement weather. hooray for me.

chicago is in the midst of a brutal stretch of schedule. they've had to travel after each of their last seven games dating back to january 14th, and the seven games include home games against washington, atlanta and san antonio, with road tilts against cleveland and dallas. they get one day off after playing three games in four days, and now they fly to the west coast to begin another three-in-four stretch. when this road trip is over, they will have traveled in between 13 consecutive games. their key contributors also play heavy minutes. in 6 of those last 7 games, they've had at least two starters in the upper 30's or lower 40's in terms of minutes played. it just seems like a terrible time to be playing a team that's tough to defend for 48 minutes on an even playing field.

on the polar opposite end of the spectrum awaits golden state, who hasn't had to travel since a road game at houston on january 17th. they're playing their fifth straight game at home, all of which include an off-day in between. they have not had a player on their roster reach the 35-minute mark in any game thus far on the home stand. after four blowouts, boston gave them a good run in their last game and kept it much closer than expected. i'm hoping that this will provide the same kind of reaction that an unexpected loss would, and that they come out tomorrow night with renewed focus and attention to detail and pull away in the second half due to their substantial advantage in fresh legs.

Wish u the best of luck even thought at this point ur kind of tired of hearing that but i mean it u changed the way i play the game i had a lot of bad habits without knowing u help me fix that watching u on the streak the way u carry urself its truly the way a champion would what u gave all of us is priceless.HOPE U GET THAT MONEY

Best of luck your going to need it picking a line like that. There were many other favourable lines to go with such as toronto -3.5 being the best in my opinion, but hey what do i know its not like ive ridden a 24 streak. BOL

Had a feeling you were going to take Golden State when I was looking at the games for tomorrow...nothing else stood out to me except Golden State... If it were me I would probably hold off until Wednesday and take the RED HOT Atlanta Hawks against the Nets...I don't see Atlanta winning by less than 18-25. I'm sure they will be a huge favorite but you pulled the trigger on GS.

Good luck tomorrow on Golden State....hope they win by double digits and bring you home the GOLD !! 100K !!!!!

Good luck on warriors tonight. You are smart in not waiting to make your picks. ShawNee922 had 18 pick winning streak in 2001, and got SCREWED because he couldn't make a pick within a week, because of the vicious terrorist attack on 9-11-2001. Therefore his streak ended because there were no games to pick days after the attack.

I one my first streak game with Texas plus 5 - Hooray! Husband and I went to the casino tonight - he lost $100 and I won about $125. I picked my second game for the streak tomorrow with the Bulls plus 9.5. Then I looked at Braxton's pick and saw he took my Golden State Warriors. Like he said in an earlier post, I am not doing any research at this time b/c it is only my second pick and don't want to spend the time on it, which he now does regularly because of his streak. I only took the Bulls because they have been playing well as of late, and I believe they won a big game recently. So, I ended up taking the points, as 9.5 is a lot of points to give up. I am on the West Coast in the Bay Area, so I will be watching this game with a lot of interest. Good luck, though, Braxton!

Good luck brackson. Great insights and writeups! I really admire how you have handled the pressure and just go with your first instincts. That is so hard to do. I have not been successful in this contest but I have had decent streaks in others and I always get tight after 10 or so and blow it. You deserve this and I hope you get the 100k!
