wooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! gators baby. Ohio St. can hang but for how long. Florida goes in there with with less on their shoulders and pulls this one off. I hope they make the spread even so everyone can just choose their favorite and have a blast. To be honest....i honestly feel that florida would have went undefeated on ohio st.'s schedule. Not saying their weeks were weak. Man i have no comments for stats or anything, no need.....no one can say anything. four to five weeks of practice and schemes prepares any team for the national championship. I would have loved to see a big ten championship game between Ohio st and wisconsin, boy did those badgers get good.
FLORIDA HALF and GAME. til the wheels fall off

you're are such a homer gatorboots, Ohio st can hang for how long?. I think you got it opposite..The question is can Florida hang around till the end and steal the game? Florida is a good team but they are outmatch here.. Ohio St will dominate the lesser foe.Bet with your head not your heart Gators..

The reason that the Michigan-Florida debate wasn't much of a
debate was because it didn't matter. Neither team would be able
to hold Troy Smith's jockstrap, let alone beat the rest of the
team. I'm happy that Michigan was not picked because it would
have reminded me of 1998 when Florida and Florida State played in back
to back games, the season finale and then the BCS championship
game. They split those two games so how could you tell which team
was really better? Ohio State ended up #2 that year after
defeating a Jake Plummer led Arizona State team that was one of the
best games I've ever watched. Coming back to this year, no team
in college football has looked as dominating this year as Ohio State on
both offense and defense. Except for Illinois and playing #2
Michigan, every game was not even close. Florida at times has
looked vulnerable and lost this year and did not impress me when they
played some underacheivers(Florida St, Georgia, Alabama) and some
overachievers (South Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt). Is the SEC
a tough conference? Absolutely. Does that mean the best
team from the best conference is the best team in the country?
Absolutely not. And if you want to compare schedules, What team
did OSU play that was on par with Western Carolina and UCF? And also,
Urban Meyer is a great coach and all, but in the national title game,
or BCS exposure, there is no one in the country I'd take over Jim
Tressel. Take Florida and you might as well. Ohio State is the way to go no matter what the spread. Good Luck to everyone.

you know whats funny phanny pack is.......Coach meyer is saying the opposite to his gators, he's saying the country wants OHIO ST. to win, they think they are better. So when u go out there play with your heart! not ur head. FLORIDA ALL THE WAYYYYY. i say give a hand to AUBURN to be the only team to beat the Gators this season. and maybe ron zook for recruiting some champions. and to me for being a true fan and wanting my team to win. you know what would be the funniest Phancard, is if u teased OHIO ST and still lost. Look for me guys i'll be the guy in the blue and orange, in the bar, drinking, having a blast, cheering for the Gators and having a good time for me cause i love football......SEC SUPREMACY. Man the SEC is gonna get some cash after all the bowl games they win.

Come gametime ohio st will have been inactive for over 50 days, and florida will have played twice, against two bowl teams, and won. The reason the Florida Michigan debate wasn't a real debate, is because the Big Ten sucks this year. Who do they have. Michigan, Ohio st, and Wisconsin. who did michigan beat this year, Wisconsin, and notre dame, who is over rated as hell. Who has wisconsin beat, absolutely no one. Wisconsin sucks and is gonna get stomped on by Arkansas. Michigan almost lost, at home, to ball st. They don't deserve any respect at all. Ohio st, who is without a doubt the best team in college football. They have taken everyones best shot all year and are still number one. But who have they beaten, Michigan, at home, and texas on the road. Texas has proven that they suck, so who gives a shit about that win, and michigan, although pretty much untested, they are a good squad, but Florida could take them down. Florida ran through, by far, without a doubt, the best conference in football, and the best all around conference I've seen in a long time from top to bottom. So what they had mostly all close games, so what their best D lineman, Marcus Thomas, got thrown off the team. They held the best halfback in the NCAA to 72 yards rushing last week. Ohio st won't be able to run the ball at all. Comes down to team speed, and Ohio st hasnt seen a defense as fast as florida, or even close to as fast as florida is all year long. Troy Smith will find it extremely hard to move around against the florida D, and he'll have to rely on his arm to beat the Gators, adequate secondary. The line will get to him sooner or later. Smith will have three picks and the Gators win in a shocker, 31-24. Everyone keep riding the Buckeyes, cause if you do, its gonna be your buckeye thats gonna be hurting on tuesday mourning, cause you will have gotten railed the night before.

ya dude, the concensus number one team, by the rankings. They are really the only undefeated team, boise st doesnt count. But, like I said, who have they played, Michigan, Texas. Florida has played 10 teams which are in bowl games. We'll see on the 8th, ride the buckeyes, please, make the money line jump so I can make some more loot.

UF is going to win this outright, then win the basketball tourney again and 3 BCS championships under Tim Tebow. If you have a son going to College in the next 3 years that plays football or basketball and want him to get a NCAA championship ring send that homeboy to UF. There will be mega championships coming out of Gainesville over the next 3 years. Even the Baseball and Softball teams are loaded. The Great State of Florida has the best athletes in the nation and there isn't a close second!! Take the money line, take the points and tease it if you want to, you are safe!! OSU's DEF hasn't ever seen speed like this and OSU's Def is average at best. LOOK FOR UF to run it up!!

LivinLarge you must be Livin in a bubble or retarded, which one? The SEC would eat the Big 11 alive!! How many teams in the Big 11 are worth a damn this year 2? 3 if you count Wisconsin's weak ass schedule. The SEC was stacked, LSU, ARK, AUB, TENN, GA, KENTUCKY, USC & UF. This will be an easy win for UF, OSU hasn't seen anything close to this speed and you can't simulate speed in practice. Good luck preparing for a dynasty!!

wooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! gators baby. Ohio St. can hang but for how long. FLORIDA HALF and GAME. til the wheels fall off
And what planet are you from? You obviosly didn't watch FL not cover against Vandy who lost large to Meeechigan or Kenyucky by 4 with a spread of 16 at home! Listen the Badgers got beat soundly by Michigan and Michigan covered against the Buckeyes and put the most points on them all year and if it wasn't for Remember 3 yearsago a hommer call the would have lost! The game I wanted to see but won't is FL and Meeechigan! You remember the last time you played UM YOU LOOSE AGAIN!

Are there any non-SEC/Florida biased backers out there to
change my mind about this game? Everyone backing Florida so far
seems to be a member of either the Swamp Squad or SEC bandwagon.
I'd like to have a legitimate argument for Florida based on matchups or
numbers. Anyone that could help out with this, thanks.

UNDERDOGS IN BOWL GAMES INVOLVING SEC TEAMS ARE ON A HUGE ROLL WINNING THEIR LAST 10 GAMES AGAINST THE SPREAD AND GOING 8 - 2 OUTRIGHT. I KNOW THIS IS MEANINGLESS IN A GAME OF THIS MAGNITUDE ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THE TALENT AND COACHING OHIO ST BRINGS TO THE TABLE.
BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REASON TO BET FLORIDA THIS MIGHT BE SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.
FLORIDA BOWL GAMES USUALLY GO OVER THE NUMBER, BUT THE CLOCK RULE CHANGES MAY CAUSE MANY OF THESE BOWL GAMES TO GO UNDER.

I may just sit back and just watch this game and no play.
If you guys can still remember last season when I took the Longhorns to beat USC SU. I did not choose them cause I am a Longhorn fan, but because the Longhorns had less pressure on them to win. A lot of stars on the Ohio St. team has a lot riding on this game and it can take a lot out from a young players standpoint.
Of course you cannot compare the type of players on Texas versus what Florida has to offer Ohio St., but you cannot simply ignore them.
Ohio St made me some this season. Very solid team all around, but I took Michigan to cover against them and won.
Ohio St. vs Florida might be a better matchup than most people think. It is very hard for me to go against Ohio St. but I have a slight feeling that Florida might win.
Aloha and good luck to whatever you guys choose, pending on how I do this bowl game season i may just enjoy the game minus a wager.

I MAY JUST WATCH THIS ONE .. UNLESS MY CANES COME THUR IN A BIG WAY FOR ME ON NEW YEARS EVE ON THAT BLUE FIELD IN BOISE
