Does Doyle Brunson tilt if he loses a few hands in poker???? I doubt it. He has a method of play which makes him money-LONG TERM. If your handicapping abilities are good enough-you'll make money long term-bottom line. CG doesn't seem to realize this. It's a marathon-not a sprint. To get totally bent out of shape over 2 days of losses-is beyond idiotic. If you can't stand the daily fluctuations-you're in the wrong business. Stop drinking-handicap correctly & the money will come. Good luck.

And why's that? Have you even read this thread in full. Have you read some of his responses too?
I go through far worse in my own threads all the time.
I enjoyed reading this thread only. Then I saw some Clippers Spurs commentary and said something. God forbid!
Ya see, what he's going through is the essence of what gambling is.
Ya get up big, you can beat the world. But then what? Are you just going to ride a tidal wave of wins? Go 2-1 and hit 65% every day? No, you are going to give some back.
You might give a ton back!
One guy here posted he lost ten in a row TWICE (and also said he finished in the black on the season).
0-20. Imagine that! And he's not picking the games out of a hat! He's capping them.
You know what it is to cap games for hours and lose? Of course you do. It's one of the worst feelings in the world if your big bet and ultra-strong play doesn't hit.
All that wasted time and then you lose money on top of it.
But we have distractions in our lives to get us over those humps. Why? We're home and sleep in our own beds.
He's in Vegas.
Win? The lights are brighter. The sounds are crisper. The women are prettier.
Lose? The lights hurt your contact lenses. The sounds give you a headache and every woman that smiles at you is probably a hooker.
Look, he's up $4,000. But let's say he's up $4,000 at the end of 30 days. He'll look down upon that. He'll think, "I was up $5,000 after 17 days and now the month has ended and I gave back $1,000!"
That is why Vanzack was trying to tell him not to look at the betting experience as chunks of time. He won't listen to that. He can't. He knows no different.
He needs to go 1-0 or 2-1 today for a sorely needed confidence boost. That's where he's at. Still made several thousand but has low confidence right now.

I just looked at the slate and he's taking the Lakers or Cavs because they both have paid well him recently.
Both games should be interesting, especially if he has a Lakers side over OKC
