I am done posting in this thread. Tired of the blinders this kid wears. I will check back on your record in two weeks. Good luck. I predict -10k or more with a record somewhere around 48% and another 5k play or two along the way.

Your win/loss % vs. you being in the hole is a glaring GLARING indication you need to tighten up your money management. Think where you would be if you flat bet every play vs. taking shots.

It is laid out for you right there. Look at your f'n stats. You don't fix this it will be your down fall. You are way too emotional to be a pro. You take it too personal.

It is now a business and not a hobby, treat like one. Flat bet every play and you are golden, why can you not see that.

Agree the 5.5K bomb skewed me and put me - I'll be in the green tho as I say soon. Look at my college football % and nfl %. I have picked now 370+ bets combined between the three at around 57% just tighten up the money management and I'll be rolling here for a long long time

 This thread has turned into a typical Facebook thread:  A delusional narcissist like College Gambler posts about how great he is, and the ignorant sheep continually feed his out-of-control ego, by giving multiple thumbs up and well wishes.    

And the site (Covers) is the big winner in all of this, with all the views, until the interest wanes, and drama subsides, and some other narcissist (under the guise of humility) starts another attention-grabbing thread.

If he was humble, disciplined, and grounded (which he obviously is not), I think almost everyone here (myself included) would be interested in College Gambler's journey, and be rooting for his success.

However, why anyone would wish for a narcissistic, know-it-all like College Gambler (who lies to HIMSELF multiple times in this thread on a daily basis) to succeed, is beyond me. That just encourages him to be a bigger, defiant as shole than he already is, if that is even possible.

It's not that much work once it's properly set up tbh; just have to add the plays as they finish, and all the percentages and charts update themselves, of course.

You are correct.  38-30 overall.  $5500 every play would have him up 25k.  Woulda, shoulda,coulda been almost perfect money management.

It is quite the paradox for a gambler, when discussing flat betting versus bigger wagers at times.  I think if College Gambler was on fire, like he was when he started this trek, and not coming off a 6 or 7 game losing streak, pressing to 2 or 3 K on the next game would have been totally understandable.  

If he won that bigger wager, maybe keep pressing the 2 or 3K, but if he loses, definitely pull back to his standard 500 or 1K play.  

The window of winning streaks at any form of gambling is small, and you sometimes have to maximize your good run, but this was not the time to do it in my opinion.  The bump in bet size was 10 times his normal bet, which was too high, even if he was winning.

FWIW (and what is frustrating as a gambler), the team he bet large on (the Kings), played a great game versus Charlotte, after their humiliating loss.  Whereas Atlanta laid an egg in their following game at Denver.

The Spurs being a rare winning example, but if College Gambler LOVES a favorite, he should probably fade himself, and UNLOAD on the underdog.  

But when he does bet dogs, his record seems to be VERY solid.

And as someone else recently stated, Scalabrine must be jealous of College Gambler, and the attention that his thread is getting.  Because he seems to be critiquing the hell out his betting style, when Scalabrine's winning percentage is ATROCIOUS.

I suck as a gambler, but the last thing I would want to do is implore someone else who to bet or not bet on.  But Scalabrine thinks as long as his selection is preceded by a long-winded novella, the winning or losing does not matter.  When, in reality, that is all the sports books judge you by. 

If this was not the case, people would be pleading with the books for a refund, because the reason they lost the wager was not due to their handicapping.  Instead, they incurred a bad beat, or a team shot lights out from 3, or dominated on the offensive glass, and had these things not happened, I would be getting paid for my brilliant analysis.

CG has wagered $53,330 so far on his "journey" (sounds like he is the Bachelor).

Every bet at -110.

If he bet exactly the same bets, but from his living room on 5d at reduced juice (assuming they would average to -105), he would have $2,424 more dollars than he has now FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Right now he is down $2,650.  He would only be down 200 bucks if he simply bet at one reduced shop (5d).  Hell - he could do it tomorrow if he wanted. 

If he really wanted to make more money - he could move somewhere that he could open a pinnacle and MB account.  I know - he doesn't want to move to some f'd up country like the Bahamas, Costa Rica, England, Thailand, or Malta - but imagine if he spent the close to 2500 bucks he has already wasted in extra vig (tax) to set up residence there - and then came back to the US - and just VPN'd in to his residence in that country??  Neteller, Pinnacle, MB, Skrill - all at his fingertips?  Along with every other book the world has to offer?  Moving money around with clicks of a mouse instead of rides in the Hyundai?  Eating Mahi instead of Tilapia?  Putting exclusive ingredients in the salad like hearts of palm?  Getting every line at the REAL best line and the REAL best price?

The "picks" don't matter when you are paying too much for them.  This "journey" isn't about profitability - it is about a lifestyle (albeit temporary).  If every month you pay $2,400 dollars in extra tax - that gives you no benefit - doesn't that eat you up?
