As my old Vietnamese friend used to say: "WAAATT DAAA HELLLLLLLLLL BIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC BOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIII MORE COULD UUUUUUUUUUUU WAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNTTT??? There's people that open up their mornings with a good belly laughter read here!

I'm dropping about $200 but my betting organization sees green with one more win tommorow. Def time to celebrate. CG lives in style and enjoys it wow I love this place. I'm an old school degenerate

I stand by my initial wish in this thread regarding CG's journey, but you people that are bashing his winners (Vanzack, Scalabrine just to name a couple), need to grow up and realize how pathetic you both sound.
The good point you made was regarding getting the best line at tip-off, and running from casino to casino is obviously not the answer, and he needs the ability to bet on mobile, as many have stated.
But to KNOCK a guy, who consistently gives out more winners than losers, even during his 6 or 7 game slide, makes your commentary self-absorbed and embarrassing.
WHO cares how CG arrives at his winning selections? I would rather have a guy give a few sentences or paragraph, that contains a winner, than a novella of bullsh1t, aided by consistently POOR outcomes.
If he was not so self-absorbed and arrogant, I would have no problem rooting for CG. But rooting against him becomes harder, when foolish people bash him for not accompanying his winning selections, with enough detailed, mundane analysis.
Maybe College Gambler's success in handicapping comes from the "eye test", from watching and getting a feel for teams. And his sample size is large enough, to where he seems to be pretty good at this thus far.

CG, I know you're doing your own thing, but please consider flat staking or fixed percentage staking. Your bet history has clearly shown that it's very hard to differentiate between games worthy of larger stake and games not.
You can then concentrate what your best at - finding winners - and don't need to wrap your head around how much money to wager on each bet. This also has the positive side effect that it dampens chase tendencies, which are detrimental to your bankroll. You never chase if you always put the same amount on each bet - either the same absolute amount or the same %age of your roll
You might need to have to have a rather aggressive strategy to cover your expenses since your BR is rather limited. But always staking a 1,100 or 3% of bankroll is way better than dropping the occasional 5K bomb. Since your already almost exclusively making 1K plays anyways you might just make that your standard bet and stick with it.
Varying stake sizes without knowing your exact edge adds variance. If can greatly amplify losing streaks and dampen winning if you're a little unlucky putting your roll at risk when there's no need for that. My two cents. Keep up the good work picking winners.

Another tip: buy "Fixed Odds Sports Betting: Statistical Forecasting and Risk Management" by Joseph Buchdal and read at least the chapters on staking streategies and analysing your betting record. If you can drop $20 on a lapdance you should be able to drop $20 on amazon for educational purposes.
(The other chapters, albeit good, are a little euro centric concentrating on ML betting with everything's in decimal odds, so it might be a little frustrating read for you because of that. The two chapters mentioned above are universal though and well worth the price of the book).

Thanks for the breakdown, and those two rows are CRITICAL in supporting what I suspected:
Basically, if College Gambler does not like the underdog in a particular game, he should pass all together. And when betting them, he should also EXPECT the underdog to win outright, with the points as a cushion.

With his incredible 25-12 record on dogs, a few ML winners mixed in would make a BIG difference. I just think he should focus on dogs less than or equal to seven, as it is very difficult to cash on double-digit ML dogs, like UCLA ov Arizona, NYK ov Utah, Sac ov Atlanta.
And if he is up a significant amount of points at any time, he should also consider in-game hedging, if he can possibly do so. He would protect himself from bad beats, and also score HUGE on several middling opportunities.

Disclosure: I never did in-game betting so total noob when it comes to that.
Could you examplify how this would work out? Does it really add to the bottom line in the end? - intuitively I picture that you would get less profit in the cases where your original pre game bets come in if hedging, and that it would all be a zero sum game over the course of many bets. But as I said - no experience whatsoever so I would love hearing someone who knows this stuff elaborate a bit on on the subject of live betting situations and approaches (with the angle of CG's pick history so we keep it OT)
