dont ever follow hockey at all,but definitely saw this guy around the place and know hes been a fixture here a long time as a contributor and also doing the work of a mod (which is a thankless task at the best of times so huge gratitude to all the guys that chip in to do that.)needless to say,its pretty shit.ty to hear such news about any person,whether you really know them or just "know" them in a vague,ethereal kind of sense that is common in online communities.

My prayers and deepest sympathies to his family. I know we all knew something was wrong with the extended absence of posts.

 

He taught me quite a bit over the years and made me a better capper for sure. He will not be forgotten and hopefully we can carry his legacy on with us on this site.

I raise my glass one final time for Lipps.
