EVEN though a MLB game becomes official after 5 1/2 innings are played, one of this site&#x27;s wonderful rules is if a baseball game is incomplete, meaning not all nine innings are played the game becomes a push. MAYBE the two clowns known as THE_SHOW and coakley69 can explain to you, why you shouldn&#x27;t complain about a stupid rule that can be changed, they act like the world will come to an end if the change was ever made.  stupid rules

So if I had Oakland ML that counts as a WIN but the total does not?? How does that make any sense????? I took Oakland ML in the free contest and I was credited the WIN on that but Over in race = PUSH

THAT&#x27;S a great question, maybe the two clowns I named can give you an explanation why you shouldn&#x27;t complain about a rule that makes no sense at all, they are experts when it comes to this site&#x27;s rules, I mean stupid rules.

makes no sense, both sides and total has to get cancelled, how do you cancel totals. i realize if someone takes over under then its unfair if game is not complete but then the sides shouldnt count either.

what about phili cin last week had cin and under game gets completed next day, i dont get paid for both correct picks.\\

Those are long established wagering rules.  The reason is that if you knew weather would probably have an effect on the game the under would have a much greater chance of winning.  On the other hand that same info would not give you an advantage on picking the winner.

I realize that sir, I&#x27;ve been wagering since the 70&#x27;s. But no one is wagering any money on this site, so you would think, it would be user friendly instead of making it more difficult to pick winners.

The contest plays by Vegas rules. Vegas rules in any sportsbook say an MLB game must go 5 Inn or 4.5 if home team is ahead to count as a legal game. Totals must go 8.5 inn to count as a legal game. This game only went 7 so the side was a legal game and the total wasn't.

It is the same way in all sports. A football game must go 55min, an NBA game I believe is 44 min ...etc

No one got screwed it was graded just as it should have been.

It sucks when you're winning a bet that gets cancelled, but in a contest like this where only wins matter, it is important to factor in weather when making picks. If you pick a total/side in a game that might get rained out, you run the risk of losing a game on the leaders.
