Well I went 18-3 and that next Thursday was handed $1470. SO when you finally turn the big five oh, and you will look it, don't go crying to your mommy, loser. I dont agree with anything pdv24 said about conspiracy or being a girl and so on, but one thing he said is on. I also do handicap for a living and 68% is an incredible rate to be hitting at for any length of time. If you follow any of the professional contests in vegas or track the monitors like here and The Oklahoma Sports Monitor etc...., 68% is amazing if not nearly impossible for those of us doing this to support our families or in my case, my 3 sponges as I call them. Yes, can you pick 30 games and go 20-10 and be 66.6666666% out of a little research and alot of luck, yes you can. But, to do it over 150 picks or so is incredibly difficult for anyone espically in amateur. I work with two other gentleman, and we are on the computers and phone gathering information, as well as watching coaches film for 8-14 hours a day each, and our goal each month is 60-65%. And, before you all start coming at me with, "your just another loser claiming this is your life, and so on", ive been a member here since 2002 using covers as a research site, and the fourm posts way back when, when they were worth anything. And for the record, and professional handicapper who makes their job out to be something special, I also wonder if that is really their life, because sitting in front of a computer screen and tv all day, every day is not what I had invisioned for my life. Im 26, have a degree in philosophy from Arizona State and live in beautiful Scottsdale, Az, and I would not even see the outside if I did not have to go shopping at some point. I would rather have a differnt job, and this as a hobby, but nothing pays as well for me in this economy. But to sum up this whole thing, I do not agree with ANY of the accusations made by pdv24, but 68% is damn impressive, just look at all the other past contests on this site accross the board, 65% and your usually a winner.
