with the nhl starting in the next 8-12 days i imagine it will start then. or at least i hope. I've been waiting to play the race for a looooooong time.

its never took this long before even with 4 sports cause it already is and by this time we normally would of had 2 races started by now.

Regarding your comment about the lack of sports to make selections from in Oct., maybe you should do your own recount. There's NCAA football, NFL football, MLB baseball thru most of October, NHL hockey which starts the first week of Oct., NBA hoops starting in later Oct., and NCAA hoops in mid Nov. That adds up to six sports throughout the contest which usually lasts a little over three months if 200 wins remains as the goal.

 

To me, that would be the perfect time to have another Ultimate Race if we are lucky enough that the Covers braintrust decides to do another one.

Great synopsis of the situation. Free game that requires a lot of sports and games to choose from to keep it fair and wide open. I agree that Covers needs to notify members well in advance rather than finding out 2 weeks into a competiton. Still finished in top 300. But no Fair! but remember people this is a free contest from a reliable site that is easily accessible to all.

I think its funny that all these people keep asking when the race starts. If they haven't answered any of the 50 previous requests what makes you think they are going to answer yours.

There are currently 4 pages of everyone asking "WHEN DOES THE NEXT RACE START?"

There has not been one post from any of the COVERS MODS answering the question. If you do not know or there is not going to be another or it is pending, like several people have posted, at least have the courtesy to GIVE AN ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a suggestion, since you are not going to answer any questions,
TAKE DOWN THE RESULTS OF THE YEAR OLD CONTEST, NO ONE CARES.

You think that's old??? Click on Contests and than click on AFL...They still have 2008 results for the AFL Contest they hosted...

You are right though..No one cares and should just be taken down or hidden.
