If league owners don't change the schedule to the fall season it will be a complete failure.
Need to televise when the huge majority of fans are watching football and wagering on games.

They have absolutely no shot as a fall league with the NFL & college football in full swing. Their big mistake was playing all their games in Birmingham. Why should anyone from Alabama care about a game between the Philadelphia Stars & Houston Gamblers? Why should fans from Philly, Houston, Pittsburgh, Detroit, New Orleans, Tampa & New Jersey care about a team of no names just because their jersey's have their city's name on them, when they don't even play in that city? The excuse for playing all games at one location was to save on travel expenses. If your league can't afford flights & hotels for road teams during 5 away games, maybe you shouldn't have started the league in the first place. Especially since these guys are only making $40,000. Wouldn't it be better to have paltry crowd of say 15,000 people at a local stadium, then to have 1,500-2,000 watch in Birmingham on a hot May/June day?
