Not a fan of split parlays like that Mac...unless it is for a small amount for fun. Which in your case...I'm sure it is.
Risk/reward isn't there % wise based on the probabilities.....in the long run it will kill ya....as I'm sure you know.
But...what if you set up a parlay chase with those 4 teams at the start of a series where they are playing 3 games each (or 4 each).....which sounds...kind of interesting. Haven't done the math on it though.
The parlay you show gives you a 50% chance of winning 180 based on risking 100 on each parlay (Reds/WS both win or Jays/Mets both win) ....and 50% chance of losing 200 (Reds/Jays both win or WS/Mets both win).
Take the 2 best teams and play them straight up....25% of winning 200...50% chance of losing small juice... and 25% chance of losing 200.
I'd rather only have a 25% chance of losing 200...than 50%. True you have a 75% chance of losing money with the 2 straight bets..but 2/3 of that chance is small juice with these odds on these 4 teams today.
Just some thoughts... in my book it really comes down to a personal decision. Again...for small "fun" money it is probably worth a shot. I always only do parlays for small amounts....that I plan on losing. If they hit....it's a bonus. Or sometimes I will do them as a small hedge against me losing all my big plays that day/night.
Just my 2 cents..
Thanks for the Phillies trend .....quite a rush when it goes to the final game and late innings!
