I recently made a withdrawal from my Bookmaker account into my Blockchain account (where I then typically move it into my Coinbase account). I have done this routine a dozen times over the past few years without issue. This past withdrawal was relatively small ($5k), but when I submitted my send request from Blockchain to move my funds to Coinbase the funds did not go through and when I inquired about it, I was told that my account is currently suspended and Blockchain sent me an email requesting me "to pass a routine source of funds & wealth check".
Specifically asking for:
Proof of source of funds of the crypto deposited into your Blockchain.com account in the form of crypto exchange statements, bank statements, invoices, etc. in PDF format. Please provide both the source of the cryptocurrencies in statements for the crypto exchange where they were purchased and statements for the payment method you used to purchase those cryptocurrencies.
Have any of you had to address this with your crypto withdrawals? And, if so, did you claim is was from sports gambling? I'm not exactly sure if they are able to hold those funds and not release them or not?
Appreciate any insights or advice.
