Gardner Webb is a team that usually keeps it close in losses. They lost
13 games last season and 11 of those 13 losses were close, by single
digits or in overtime. They lost some very close games @ Iowa and @
Illinois. This season they already have two close losses, including a
single digit loss @ Mizzou, and they also lost a close one @
Northwestern (by 11). They are 8-1 ATS in last 9 lined regular season
games. They are from Big South, they are definitely a top 5 team from
that conference, and Big South teams with winning record are 3-0 ATS in
lined games this season. The last time they faced Duke, a few years ago,
they lost big, but they were a bad team back then, a team that finished
5-21 against Div.I teams. They are in constant progress since then.
They have 4 wins against Div.I teams already this season. Duke is not
really a blowout type of team this season. They have 3 of those but one
came against a team on short rest after overtime and all three came in
November. The play is Gardner Webb +25.5. Please play it a little bit
