FIrst losing day in a week. It seems Fridays are not my best day of the week to do some betting, maybe I will rest next week. Knew I was pushing my luck a bit with the Wizards game (thinking Beal with a bad wrist and Minnessota with half a team sidelined would stop the score from being too high), but hey, it is what it is. I did get that okc spread win to now have two open spots- but when you lose in the final seconds with a team that has no business in putting up more points makes u wonder if they know the line was -4 then -3.5

I went 4 out of 5 tonight! I got the spread on OKC, HOU, SA, OKC, and got the under on the Lakers game. My only loss was with the Bucks! I'm also seeing some good picks tomorrow, I'll let you guys know what I'm planning tomorrow!

I hate that- specially in college football- when u have the over and it's a blow out and the star QB is benched for the second half.

Teams should be more careful in closing games and managing the clock- Dallas almost came back on the spurs for sloppy play-

Funny thing is that last friday it was the same thing I had a 3.5 on OKC in overtime game v. mavs- and westbrook misses the first one hits the second game spread -3

So you would think Karma right ? Kings should ve missed one?

That is why I don't believe in religion God or any of the sort lol because it's all about math. And this year the computers are middling alot of these spread at an alarming rate-

Hi everybody. Love reading this thread. My first post.

Does anyone know where I can find total amount being wagered on each side? I ask because percentages can be deceptive if the total amount being wagered is relatively small.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

Penn State looks like strong RLM looking at betting percentages on pregame.com.

Very interesting card today and I will start from most popular games that most bets were placed on so far and will apply code factor in some of those games as it is very clear to me where are they being driven by the books after general and odds makers' conception is clear. Rarely the odds makers and the public are so much on one side while the books either doctoring original lines or big money fills that void needed for doctoring. We're in a mid phase of the season when the teams with great records are letting the foot of the gas pedal a bit letting it's players a little breathing room while the weaker teams - knowing that - are using each and every game to cash on that.

I will go game by game to see what is going on code wise, recent form wise (code and recent form often contradict each other), the line movement wise etc...

Well Mavin i came quite close to hitting my prediction to a tee yesterday with winnipeg winning 4-2, empty net goal killed my 3-2 prediction, so i might be onto something here, although it's only been a couple of days, so i will continue with the research.

today's picks are:-Kings -1

                         -Flames -1

                         -Rangers -1

                         -Blue Jackets (shocker special)

Obviously the opening line was too low for teams that have rediscovered lately their scoring touch. Especially the Raptors at home and the Cavs home and away. With Calderon and the friends against Irving and co - I also will take Over here but will stay away from the spread.

For me this is the straight game of the day. The Knicks are better, the Knicks won twice over the Sixers and there is a doubt about Kidd playing. The Lines are moving in the right direction. No opinion on the totals here.

I'm thinking the spread on NY, Bulls, Utah, and LAC, but I just don't know if LAC can get it done with the injuries... I also like the Toronto Over, but worry that Tor can't keep up the pace. I'll let you know my final picks later.

No doubt the Wizards playing better basketball than they did lately. They also playing a team that practically owns them. So it is all so clear with line such as -1.5 that a simple ML on the Bulls or Washington ATS is a money in the bank. The question is who's bank? Ours or the books? Too good to be true in my opinion. Leaning Washington but so far staying away and

Two very bad teams facing each other in a game that the line movement indicates the direction but makes it hard for me to trust anything with those two. The lean is Over and Charlotte -2.5. But I would need something concrete to upgrade those into the real plays.

Well, I am not sure the money moves the line or the line movement convinces people to bet on Houston. Not so trivial for me. The same goes for the Under. The leans obviously are the Rockets -3.5 and Under 200, but will have to wait on this one for later unless someone will give me a concrete reason to bet on this game.

Milwaukee did yesterday wheat I call an exchange. They lost to the Cavs they've been dominating 3 quarters in order to bat the Warriors today. And lots of points are expected. Well, I will keep the totals for parlays and will simply fade over 90% of the public betting the road tripping GS.

Well, is that magical mystery tour of the Suns has come to a stop in SA? If SA and NYK both win - the books will have a parlay problem as two MLs combine to a comfortable -110 line. The lines are in direction of the public - but not enough.  Leaning Under here but no play so far.
